Birthday Brunch

Booked the Torfin for a birthday brunch for 30 people. Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff were very attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

We love the Torfin! A firm fave amongst friends and family.

We love the Torfin! A firm fave amongst friends and family. Regularly meet mum friends for coffee and breakfast rolls after baby classes, family for lunches and friends for cocktails and chats. Friendly and attentive staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We’ve also signed up...to this year’s Xmas wreath making workshop and breakfast with Santa! Glad we signed up quickly as they’re a sell out! Nice one #teamTorfin!More

Great experience

A nice surprise

Haven’t been before but always meant to try the Torfin. Dropped it today for a late lunch & between us had the burger with whisky & peppercorn sauce & the quesadilla. Burger was delicious, quesadilla was large for a starter portion, but salsa could have...been tastier. Service was very pleasant from young staff. Wine & food prices were good value. Would definitely return.More

The best local

I took my Mum and Granny in and we enjoyed the half price burgers, who said they were the best gluten free burgers they'd ever had. My Granny enjoyed the cheesecake and can't wait to come back! The staff are always amazing and go above...and beyond. Very cosy and dog friendly, highly recommend The Torfin!More

Just the best!

Can’t rave about this place enough. We had the roast chicken special and a steak both were outstanding. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us! Will have to come back soon and try their Christmas menu.

Great fajitas

Me and my girlfriend visited the torfin for their Wednesday night 50% fajitas. All the food was great even my partners vegan ones! All the staff were great! All round a great trip. We cant wait to come back for more

Love the Torfin

Amazing experience at the torfin as always! The staff are all so friendly and efficient. Burgers are the best you’ll have and many other yummy options to choose from! Couldn’t recommend it more!

Amazing as always

Came for dinner with friends twice already in November and both times were amazing. Staff spirits were high and helpful. The food was as tasty as always. Will be back for my Christmas dinner :)

Amazing local family friendly restaurant and dog friendly !! Friendly outgoing staff who are always happy to help. I came and ordered the mac n cheese and the portion size was just perfect and not to mention so yummy 😋

Shocking

Whatever you guys do do not get a steak 50% of the steak was fat spoke to the management and tbh they really weren’t interested in discounting the steak took around 25 mins to get a drinks order after being seated would defo not go...backMore

Really friendly atmosphere and lovely rooms

We stayed 22nd October for 1 night- our stop off from Preston to Loch Ness. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We are a family of 5 and a large dog, so we booked 2 rooms and brought our daughter (5) a camp bed....All the staff were very friendly and accommodating we would really recommend this pub with rooms. We dined downstairs in the dog friendly area and bought our dog an ice meal and a doggy beer which he loved. The human food and cocktails were also really nice can recommend the sea bass curry the bangers and mash my husband had was excellent also. Room at the front of the hotel was quite noisy as I’m a light sleeper so would recommend earplugs. On the whole 9/10 would love to stay again. Also the small cafe viro a few doors down was excellent for breakfast and. Also dog friendly xxxMore

Brilliant experience

Walked in on a Thursday night. The main waiter was just so helpful. He gave us s lovely table. My husband had beef quesadillas to start and fajitas for main. I had sea bass and potatoes. The food , service and price was excellent. Will...definitely return when in Edinburgh again .More
