Service quite slow, but breakfast filled a whole. Good choice and price quite reasonable but guys could have spent less time fooling about and more time getting drinks to table quicker than 15 mins after we ordered.

Myself, my partner and a friend visited for Sunday breakfast. The layout was quite nice and we were seen relativity quickly. When we ordered i just wanted some fruit which they had apparently run out of so being gluten free i was left with little...More

Went in recently for a sandwhich / soup to go, I work in an office around the corner. So sad that what was once a lovely and vibrant restaurant has took such a turn for the worst. The menu was minimal compared to when I...More

I visited this place for breakfast with my husband. I had the eggs Benedictmwhich I thought was lovely and my husband had the full cooked breakfast, which looked lovely. There was some tinfoil,on his sausage and he didn't think it was made fresh, but it...More

We went there for breakfast after spending a weekend in Edinburgh. The decor and service were absolutely fine: no problem with either. The menu is wide enough to cover all options. We both had a full breakfast (vegetarian for me) and that was enough to...More

Went for lunch today. I've visited this cafe several times over the last decade. It's changed hands a few times in recent years, going down hill each time. The most recent change is just terrible though, I'll not be back. When I walked in and...More

Thank you for your review. If the person who served you was unfriendly then I apologise. I can only assume that he had an off day as customers frequently comment on our friendly service. There has been only one change of owner in the last...More

Looks lovely but that's as good as it gets. 30 mins for a poor mans version of quesadillas in a cafe that wasn't busy. The diced cajun chicken was bland and verging on under cooked (I didn't eat some of it for fear of food...More

Thank you for your frank review. Unfortunately we were short staffed for several days and remaining staff had worked longer than normal hours, leaving them a bit tired and so their normally prompt response suffered, Recently our usual orange juice supplier ran out of stock...More
