Top class from the moment we arrived - a warm welcome “sit where ever you like” (I really luv this !!!) The service and food were only excellent and well worthy of the awards achieved to date. Note: The Tiramisu was incredible (so good as...per the photo !!!) 😆 Best review I can give “we will be back without fail when next in Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿”More

Highly elevated wine selection and incredible Italian food. We appreciate the wine selection and had a delicious, reasonably priced bottle with our meal. The Italian food (Aubergine Parmesan, lasagna and shrimp scampi) were absolutely delicious. The eggplant was thinly sliced and perfectly cooked. Can not...recommend this restaurant highly enough. Looking forward to returning.More

How refreshing to find a restaurant that can offer fabulous food at any time of the day. Just back from Lunch at One20 Wine Cafe having been able to choose from a full menu of beautifully prepared dishes - Scampi Thermidor with Fries and vegetables...for example! As always, first class service so an enjoyable visit guaranteed.More

If you want it, they've got it. From coffee, to great food, deli meats, cheeses and oils to wonderful and rare alcohol. The owners and staff at this place go above and beyond to deliver amazing service. The owners on multiple occasions have gone out...of their way to source me ingredients or alcohol that they didn't have in stock already and have been able to get hold of it in a matter of days. The cafe its self has a great atmosphere and ambience and is great for all occasions. One of Edinburgh's best cafes for sure; would highly recommend!More

How lucky to be only 5 minutes away from this super establishment but well worth a taxi fare if you’re further afield. Another splendid Supper with Anchovies to start and then Lamb Tagine. As ever, fabulous service by Max with Ronnie and Kyle, the Owners,...always present to ensure that all customers receive first class service. Really highly recommended..More

If you are in Edinburgh DO NOT MISS this wonderful restaurant!!! My husband and I had a fantastic dinner and are planning to go back for lunch tomorrow. I ate the monkfish medallions and my husband had lamb tagine followed by shared sticky toffee pudding....Every bite was truly amazing!! If you are looking for a delicious, non pretentious restaurant, with impeccable service then the One20 Wine Cafe should be #1 on your list!!More

Very much enjoyed Italian style cuisine in a nice contemporary restaurant. Excellent burrata, was more a main course. Nice anchovies. Very nice Chicken Milanese, and Monkfish. Fabulous Tiramisu. I’m a bit of a connoisseur of tiramisu, and I order it across the world. This was...possibly THE BEST. Nice drinks list. Service is perfect. The owner managers, father and son, are friendly and take their work seriously. We look forward to visiting Edinburgh again so that we can return for more great food. The walk from the centre of Edinburgh is very worth it.More

Best lasagne in Edinburgh ! This was a delightful find located between Stockbridge and the city centre. A small but interesting menu will pleasantly surprise you. Great selection of wines and you can sample many of them before ordering. Servers were particularly kind and attentive.

We mistook One20 for the pasta place down the street. The elegant owner offered and walked us to it. We liked him so much in that short time that we walked back to his place. “Well, this is the best Italian restaurant in Edinburgh…” Indeed,...the eggplant parmagiano was light as a cloud, the artichoke tapenaud did not disappoint, the salads refreshing and the rhubarb tart, crispy and bright. The wine list is impressive and the market next door most inviting. Headed there tomorrow. C’e vediamo!More

This was a long overdue return from Eigg to one of my favourite Edinburgh eateries - imho the best. I remembered the lasagne as being very good - I was wrong, it’s off the scale delicious - if only they’d let me have the recipe....Dessert? Hm, I eventually went for thé Tiramasu, a difficult decision as the alternatives looked equally good. I wasn’t disappointed however. Service was attentive but never obtrusive. Wine was chilled to perfection. It was busy, isn’t it always, and the atmosphere was cosy. It was a long way to come but we’ll worth it. Can’t wait for my next visit to Auld Reekie.More

Looking for a great culinary experience, look no further than “One20” Dundas Street Edinburgh. One20 ticked all the boxes; quality, consistency and value for money. Despite a comprehensive menu we had the evening specials, anchovies on a bed of tomatoes, Angus fillet, with tiramisu to...finish. For the wine connoisseur there is a staggering choice from a reported 10,000 bottles. The One20 team were exceptional, directed by the owners/executive chef, who were active on the floor and engaged throughout the evening. All-in-all a wonderful night out and highly recommendedMore

Another excellent evening in this amazing wine bar. We were lucky to get a table at short notice, the place has been super busy this summer - no surprise there! The surroundings are classy and set the scene for a quality experience. The staff were...amazing, knowledgeable, discrete but always there when needed. We had the monkfish and the lasagne, wow! Both were faultless, a delight for the senses. We’d decided to give dessert a miss but weakened at the last moment and were so glad we did. The apple and rhubarb tarts were outstanding and rounded off a just about perfect meal. The wine was chosen on recommendation from the owner - an unusual Slovakian grape variety that went so well with both courses. I’m already waiting impatiently for our next visit, hope it’s not too long.More
