Thumping music, expensive cocktails, cool ambience, efficient service. This is a high energy bar, not a relax and kick back kind of place. Enjoy the coo lugubrious vide and people watch and enjoy killer smashing cocktails.

We visited Bramble on a reasonably busy Friday night as a friend had recommended it. The bar was really interesting and worth popping in just to see the decor. As soon as we walked in we were handed menus by a passing waiter. Our order...More

Bramble has been on my list to visit for a long time. It's been a bar that has held a place in the top 100 and top 50 bars in the world for many years consistently. And for a cocktail bar so far away from...More

As mentioned in a lot of other reviews, it is pretty hard to find as it's in a little basement under the dry cleaners. It feels like a little secret bar when you're there. The service was great with the bar staff making sure we...More

Awesome tiny place hidden down stairs with no sign at street level. Wouldn't have found it without the taxi driver's help. Very cool vibe and eclectic music and mix of people. Helpful young bartender who gave us plenty of advice regarding cocktails so we were...More

Once you find the 'Bramble' plaque by the door and get in, it's a quirky little place. Seating is a mixture of tables with chairs, padded benches with cushions and cosy nooks to lounge around in. Cool hip hop playlist, great customer service and some...More

My friend decided to have her hen weekend in Edinburgh. And due to me and my friends coming through for the rugby this place was recommended. So last weekend I called around to get tables booked. This was a very mild mannered hen party with...More

You'd never guess this place was there unless you know about it.......and that's it's recipe for greatness. Loved the place and the vibe. Terrific staff....not snotty or rude.....just efficient and nice. The place is speakeasy interesting.....nooks and crannies everywhere, nice decor and dark/intimate. It's definitely...More

My wife and I sought out Bramble when we visited Edinburgh for my birthday in July. It's a bugger to find (downstairs under the dry cleaner) but worth it. We turned up shortly after opening on a Sunday and were the only customers there. We...More

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
until after dark when strappy dresses come out to

of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest

helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned

It was the last time I went a few months back. But best check the website to be sure it hasn't changed.
