I realize I arrived at Banshee Labyrinth the day after a festival ended in Edinburgh, but this pub was a major let down. The concept is very cool, but with 2 of the rooms closed, and 0 interesting drink specials, this felt like any other...More

My boyfriend and I came here twice over Halloween including Halloween night. It's great for exploring. There is a cinema and lots of different rooms to hang out in. On Halloween they had Karaoke on in one of the rooms and it was metal heads...More

Had a couple of drinks here before seeing a festival show in one if the caverns. It's a hot sweaty vib that wouldn't bother younger people.

I was backpacking in Edinburgh, and got to have a drink next to my hostel. This pub has its own cinema and concert room downstairs. Good for metalheads 😉

Celebrated my birthday with my friends in Banshee Labyrinth and I don't think I could have chosen a better place! It's fun and entertaining, definitely a pub you can't miss in Edinburgh, especially if you like themed pubs and horror. It is like a dungeon...More

This bar was built in the recently discovered lost caverns of Edinburgh! Cool vibe, good beer, pool table, even a free movie theater! Can't miss if you're in Edinburgh! I even bought a T-shirt!

This place is something special. They've dedicated a shot to my all-time favorite cartoon character Stitch, have a whole dungeon for all those who love dark corners and I can't express my gratitude over those free movie screenings where you can escape to when the...More

This a cool, fun pub with a dungeon/halloween kind of theme and rock music. Definitely in the dive bar category. It really is a labyrinth with many rooms and tunnels. Drinks are cheap and people seemed friendly but more of a young crowd. We didn't...More

Cocktails and Die Hard what's not to love. The pitchers of cocktails are cheap. This is a rock bar so might not suite everyone. There was plenty of seating and a good live band. Bit much for me but my more heavy metal friends really...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the

Maybe in the evening their could be a possibility that they would allow dogs? But when I was there I didn't see any animals. I have seen a few pubs (for example sandy bells) allowing dogs in! But maybe to double check you... More
