Huge Selektion of excelent meat pies. We went there several times while in Edinburgh, because the value for money you get here for a quick lunch is just perfect. My personal favorite is the steak pie. Our kids loved the sausage roll.

Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime for a bite to eat. The young lady who served me was very welcoming and friendly. I sat in with a drink and pie and watched the world go by on the seating by the window. Really well priced...,good quality food in the centre of Edinburgh. The shop had a great atmosphere and I am looking forward to my next visit!More

We specifically sought out this place after a friend recommended it. We tried five different pies. While all were great, the traditional pasty was the best, and only £2.50

We just wanted a snack and bought pies from here, I should say I’m not usually a pie person as I don’t eat meat so they tend to be soya or boring offerings but not here. I had a spicy cauliflower and potato pie and...it was the best pie I’ve ever had, really tasty, plenty of filling and nicely seasoned and spiced. My husband who loves a pie had the haggis pie which he really enjoyed, if all pie shops were like this I would be a pie person more often, really friendly service tooMore

We tried five different items over the weekend, and can highly recommend the Tattie Dog, Fiery Cheesy Dog and Macaroni Pie. Lots of interesting choices that are not available in similar establishments down south. Prompt, friendly service. Check it out!

Takeaway Tattie Dogs Oh my God, the pies are amazing! Reasonable prices and a large selection of things that I didn’t have time to munch through :(

Eat in or take away, The Piemaker gives a good value piece of Scotland in a paper bag! Recently returned from Edinburgh, after a weeks visit and managed 4 of the pies! Love them and a first stop for me on each visit.

I had high expectations after reading the reviews for the pie maker! The worker was smoking right outside then went in but didn’t wash his hands first of all, I ordered a steak pie and partner ordered a sausage roll, we pay and go find...somewhere outside to eat to find out I now have a haggis pie! Pastry is lovely but I’ve had much nicer scotch haggis pies ! Sausage roll was mah not the best not the worstMore

Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal

Not sure if they do Gluten Free. Most of what we saw was regular crusts. But if you're in the neighborhood, it's good to check it out. The guy at the counter very was friendly and approachable.

Hi there, if you haven’t gone to Edinburgh yet... the beef and potatoes pie was delicious and is what we picked as a “familiar “ item. They are kind of like hot pockets (here in the US) but Actually fresh/not frozen. They... More
