Oh wow was this an awesome find. We got into Edinburgh mid afternoon on a Sunday which is always a tough time to find things that are open. We love Vietnamese food so this was an easy decision. We started with the vegetable spring rolls...and then I moved on to the steamed chicken/shrimp/mushroom glutinous rice in lotus leaf. The hubs went with the chicken pho. I’d never had my dish before and I will be looking for this back in the states. Service was really fast and friendly and I’d absolutely recommend coming here if you are in Edinburgh.More

This spot is a gem. It was like eating at the owner's house and the food was authentic, fresh, and can cure what ales you. The staff seems to know when you might want/need something before you even ask for it. We were very impressed....It is a small restaurant and it is recommended to make a reservation.More

This is the best place I have eaten in a long time. Absolutely beautiful and fresh food. Great selection and big portions. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would recommend to anyone. A little gem of a place.

A great place for a meal with friends. Generous portion sizes - I was pretty full after my Vietnamese spring roll starter which was lovely and fresh. Staff were friendly but not pushy which was great. My friends also enjoyed their meals, I think we'll...be back!More

This was our second visit to this restaurant. Agree the food is tasty and its well supported by the Asian community which is always a good sign. Two things bothered me this time, firstly the prices have jumped significantly. Our lunch for 2 was expensive...and that included a main course each, one shared started and 2 soft drinks. Also when we left I really wanted to use the bathroom. It is situated where they prepare the drinks and can be seen from many tables, I couldn’t bring myself to use it. A great place to enjoy Vietnamese food, especially a good bowl of Pho. Efficient service, well-presented food, good value for money. A 4 minute walk from Haymarket Station.

First time here in Edinburgh and we decided to go for this Vietnamese restaurant. We made reservations. Many Asian people found there way to this restaurant and with a good reason. Ordered online on Friday night, no confirmation email or site confirmation but payment was taken. I called and asked why no confirmation, they said system was down and no order had come through. I told them payment had been taken and she just repeated that...I would have to reorder. I did not as I had already spent over £30. I assumed their broken system would refund the payment as the order was not confirmed (I have screenshots of this). I then received a confirmation email after my requested collection time and after I had made other arrangements (more than 90 mins after my original order and follow up call). I called them, assuming they would rectify. They refused to refund, didn't acknowledge the ordering system was down and repeatedly hung up on me. Took my money though. Thieves and liars. Avoid.More

They put chicken in the vegetarian lotus rice option - this has happened twice. Once when I dined in and once when I ordered online via deliveroo. Wouldn’t recommend going if you are veggie as they put chicken in the “vegetarian” options. Tried to request...a refund for this via deliveroo and it was refused so I wouldn’t waste money on ordering food from here againMore

Excellent spot for your Vietnamese cravings. Great tasting meals with extremely well presented dishes for very reasonable pricing. The restaurant’s atmosphere is very comforting. An incredible experience with an amazing service.

Excellent food and decent sized portions, if a bit pricey. Have dined here a few times over the years - it's usually busy, often can't get a table, but last night our group was lucky and we all went home well fed. It's a BYOB...- corkage is £3 a head - but there are a few nearby off-licences. Good choice and dishes are authentic, prices have gone up significantly since last visit but that's true in many places.More
