Went here for a couple drinks with friends. Seems very badly managed. Staff drinking then going behind bar. Not very professional. They seem to be friendly with local nuisances. Place used to be enjoyable but not anymore. Won’t be coming back.More

Hello Sorry to head you did not enjoy your experience with us on this visit. The bar has been managed by the same people the same way for 4 years. I'm sorry our bar is not for you but a lot of regulars and locals...More
Stopped for a few drinks after some sightseeing. Nice traditional pub with good drinks, service was ok. Did not try the food, so can’t comment.
Hello Thank you for your feedback. If you could tell me more about the service that would be helpful for us improving on the future.
Called in for a drink, we went to sit outside at the back and somebody had been sick so we came back in. Not the pubs fault but wasn’t a pleasant experience. However for a city pub very reasonably priced.
Sorry to hear this. I do hope you mentioned to a member of staff so this issue could be resolved immediately. Thanks
Wonderful time at Fox and Faun. Exceptional staff, amazing vibes. Thank you Dan for you positive attitude. Back soon for grab a lager and have a nice chat! 5 stars all well deserved!
Nice pub, lively atmosphere, friendly staff - the drinks just a bit on the expensive side (Westend).
Had a pint and some snacks and boy was I surprised by the quality of the food. I had a side salad that tasted like the ingredients were picked five minutes before serving. Really good, and nice staff.
Great pub quiz hosted by mark, mark was amazing! Dan was a superstar, Katie was beautiful. Pints were good. Finley was there.
Friendly service during a busy evening, good selection of beverages and food that was inspiring and which was of a better than average quality. Recommend.
A good spot! Eat the nachos for a solid meal. Good prices and friendly staff. Worth a visit but not a detour.
Good choice of local beers, friendly service, nice atmosphere and location. Busy and bustling but worth a visit. Good selection of local beers and fresh Guinness.
I had the special - Hunter's chicken topped with bacon and cheese with a whisky BBQ sauce served with salad and fries. The chicken was succulent, the bacon crispy, cheese nicely melted and the sauce was piquant! Fresh greens in the salad with red onion...and a halves cherry tomato. The large serving of fries was hot and crisp - all in all great value at £11.95!More
Is it possible to fall in love with a pub? Yes. Even during the first 10 minutes of being there? Absolutely. Between the really good food, good drinks, good atmosphere, suuuuuper friendly staff, I can't decide what seduced me the most. I felt like a...regular customer from the start, and went back every night of my stay in the city. I got to see quiz night, and live music. Everything was awesome. Also a +++ because I was going all by myself, and as a woman, I felt super safe in there even at night. They're one of the reason I'll be back in EdinburghMore
Nice local pub with great drink’s selection. Some locals and tourists. The staff were great and most helpful. The drinks were reasonable priced compared to other pubs
I had the best French Onion soup at this restaurant!!! That’s not something I say very often. I also had their side salad, while my husband had their fish and chips. That too was also delicious. I haven’t had a good fish and chips in...a while. The batter that the fish is fried in was crispy and tasty. Definitely worth every calorie.More
Great spot, crew is outstanding. Very friendly, very fast and involved in our needs. We would definitely come back again.
