Quite simply, I went back after a break of a few months. This place is as good as ever. That means good fresh hood cooked by a real French chef. The blackboard menu always has something unusual and often a bit too good.

Sadly you came in for a take out roll in the middle of a busy festival lunch service. Our food is all made to order. Your roll (made of flour, hence...the flour) was baked fresh that morning by a lovely local French bakery, it contained...More

We always ensure we have at least one lunch here when we visit Edinburgh. Delightful cafe close to the Botanic Gardens. Excellent, freshly cooked food. Delightful service. We enjoyed cullen skink and crepes. Highly recommended.

Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to review our cafe. I’m a little confused as what you ate does indeed come from the breakfast menu (we have a small kitchen and the breakfast items all get cleared away to make way for our larger...More
