Great breakfast offer served all day. Many places for solo people as well as for couples. Staff is very friendly. Place isn't too big but due to that have to be careful with quality which is really good. Recommend for a breakfast either sit in...More

Very nice food although my clothes were a bit smelly (fried oil?) after being there for breakfast. I totally recommend going there to try it. Only been there once and will probably return if I find my self nearby.

Had the papii eggs royale and my other half had the waffles with cream, maple syrup and strawberries. Both were fantastic - coupled with the coffee it was a perfect start to the day.

Tasty pastry, small place, nice atmosphere, nice baristas. Went there just for coffee, wish we came for lunch. Probably best espresso in Edinburgh

We ate here today on our last morning in Edinburgh and glad we made it here. The waffles with bacon and strawberries were great, generous portions and very tasty but there were lots of other tempting things on the menu too. Being late Monday morning...More

I stopped for brunch on Sunday when in the city. Papiis is small, busy and informal with a young crowd in. I had the eggs florentine and coffee - nice enough. I can see that service could be slow so not the place if you...More

Wow, where to start? Fantastic food, great music, and beautiful staff. What's not to love? Perfect place to lose yourself on a surprisingly cold and rainy June afternoon.

Nice latte and can see the passion the barista puts in every cup of coffee he makes. To add on, the white chocolate and raspberry scone is the best I've ever had! The waffle is not bad too.

Twentysomething couple visiting Edinburgh for a long weekend, in search of breakfast, stumbled upon Papii after being severely let down by our researched first option (Urban Angels) just a few doors down. I had the yogurt + granola, with Himself opting for the eggs florentine....More

New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,

with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many
of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest

helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned
Georgian development of regal townhouses, geometric

This is a relatively new cafe in Edinburgh- opened last year. Not sure why it doesn't have its own page yet as it's very popular.
