Stopped in for breakfast. Everything was freshly cooked and well prepared. Straight forward breakfast menu such as full Scottish, scrambled eggs and salmon/bacon, porridge, breakfast rolls etc. Scones tasted homemade. Coffee was very good. Orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. Though a small cafe it was lively without being noisy. The staff were very friendly and helpful setting a great atmosphere.... More

Nice corner cafe, just by Ocean Terminal almost opposite the Asda on the main road.. Imaginative retro inside, it's full of homemade cakes, meals cooked fresh, does wonderful breakfasts using quality ingredients and friendly people run it ! A great alternative to the "full grease" and Greggs... Couldn't fault it and really enjoyed Recommend

Cozy and quaint cafe, perfect for breakfast or lunch. If you'd like to try a full Scottish breakfast, this is a great place to do it. The baked goods also looked fabulous.

When arriving to the cafe it was very busy which to us suggested it was a good place to go. We happily waited for 5 mins max for a table and the staff were very efficient on cleaning tables and seating customers. Great menu to choose from, we attended for breakfast after visiting Edinburgh overnight. The pancakes were very tasty... More

Came so close to just staying at the premier inn for breakfast, but do glad we ventured out and found this place. Great breakfast, quality ingredients, lovely atmosphere and service. Would love to come back to try cakes sometime!

Visited the cafe on a quiet Tuesday afternoon for a couple of hangover full breakfasts. They were terrible! The beans were the only nice things on the plate. Bacon was fatty, black pudding and haggis were both very dry and the 1 sausage was cheap. I have previously rated The Haven 5 out of 5 but we were left so... More

This is not your ordinary greasy spoon, first and foremost is the quality of the food served. From Artisan bread, fresh rolls and homebaked treats that are delicious. But be warned, go early in the morning because it is so popular you will find it difficult to get a table. Well done to all staff at the Haven. Hildo

Try and get breakfast here whenever I can. Food is great, staff are friendly and it always has a buzz about the place. It's always busy, so go early to grab a seat (take aways available too). Pancakes in here are amazing! Definitely a firm favourite as my local breakfast place.

Since it opened a few years ago the Haven has not faltered and continues to create delicious breakfast and lunches - always served with cheerful smiles. One of my favourite dishes at lunch is their 'half and half' - basically a small portion of soup with half a panini. Great if you want a lighter lunch but don't want to... More
