In the last month we have eaten twice in this restaurant prior to going to theatre shows. The quality of food, staff and price are hard to beat.

Unfortunately, our experience in Frizzante was very negative although hats off to the staff, especially Olivia for their kind and helpful service. The food was a major let down and unfortunately both ended with sick tummies after our visit. Won't be rwutning unfortunetly

Had dinner here last week while visiting Edinburgh. We chose the pre-theatre menu and found it to be just right. Choices were varied and the price was great. Our waitress was a little confused but pleasant. Great meal all around.

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable
neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes.
Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along

Frizzante is a family run restaurant with over 30 years experience. Situated in the centre of Edinburgh on Lothian Road in the Heart of the theatre district, a stone's throw from the main shopping district, Frizzante prides itself on serving the finest in Mediterranean and Neapolitan cuisine. With daily and monthly specials as well as our a la carte menu, you're sure to find something to satisfy even the fussiest eater. All food is freshly prepared on the premises. As well as vegetarian meals we have wide range of gluten free dishes. We are fully-licensed and have an excellent wine list and a selection of beers and lagers.
