I visit the city on business trips on regular basis and I must say this has been my favourite place for a quick bite to eat since I first went there couple of years ago. Very tasty, fresh sandwiches in a nice, clean surrounding. The staff are always polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Been vising my friends in Edinburgh and we accidentally spotted this place. It looked nice and modern so we thought we would give it a go. To our surprise we weren't disappointed....big choice of food, delicious coffee and friendly staff. Definitely, will visit again.

I was in this bar by accident, but I was pleasantly impressed with the efficient service of the girls that are working there, great choice of fresh sandwiches, delicious soups and good quality sound of music which is always nice! I'll definitely come back!

I am loyal customer to Street bar. Loving to have my morning coffee and I must say it is the best one in the area. Very rich and tasty. Always chat to the girls who are really friendly, helpful and makes you very welcome in there. I also go back there to have my lunch few times a week and... More

The staff here are so unfriendly and miserable. If that wasn't bad enough the coffee is so terrible (weak and milk is always burnt). Food is very average - at least the prices are ok.

To say we are disappointed with this review is a huge understatement. We want all customers to receive the best of service and as such your comments have been passed to the cafe team. Our coffee, which is supplied by Kimbo, one of Italy's top brands, is our best selling item. It is therefore very rare for us to receive... More

I think this place is a tad shooting above its station, it is in the middle of an office area and it is trying to be more than it needs to be I think, the workers need soups and sandwiches, which this place does and their soup is always lovely, but it is far too expensive to make it anything... Laura, thanks for taking the time to provide a review. Whilst I appreciate that we may be more expensive in some areas than our competitors, as owner of Street Bar I work hard with the team to ensure that we offer in general terms great food and drinks at comparative prices to other cafes, which we price check from time... I had a good lunch here. There's a good selection of fillings for the sandwiches and bagels with some interesting combinations.

I booked a table for 7.30 on a Friday night and got a reminder from them by email the night before. We showed up first time at 6.50 and the place was in complete darkness, but we note that the opening hours showed Fridays as 7pm, so we went for a stroll. When we came back at 7.10, it was... More

We are dreadfully sorry that you had this experience. We have very recently changed our opening times and are now only open until 7pm on a Friday. I would like to understand where you booked a table through ie was it OpenTable or Yelp? Either way, we were never notified of your booking otherwise we would have been delighted to... More

At StreetBar we strive to ensure that we offer the freshest, seasonal produce. We take great care to source the highest-quality flavourful ingredients locally where feasible and combine them to produce a seductive Street Food experience.

The StreetBar team believe that Tapas epitomises the essence of great street food. Its Spanish origins have been influenced worldwide through a convergence of international cultures to create an endless diversity of culinary choice.
Whether with family and friends, colleagues or clients, share an authentic street food experience produce by our chefs with a passion for creative choice from the refreshingly zingy to the sizzlingly spicy.

With a regularly changing street food selection, whether you're looking to graze away or fancy something a little more substantial we believe we've got it covered!

The international influences of our street food are evident in equal measure with our complimentary selection of wines, beers and bubbly. We have 'travelled the globe' to hand-pick a fantastic range of exclusive wines and great beers.

Whether 'new world' or 'old world', red or rose, sparkly or still, we are proud to offer a wonderfully refreshing selection of drinks to go hand in hand with our tapas selection. If you can't decide - just ask a member of the StreetBar team who can offer recommendations.

Enjoy!

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theatres and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.
