Such varied and delicious starters and mains, and we enjoyed all of them. Lovely and friendly ambiance and service - we were a party on 10, and we had a wonderful evening at a very reasonable cost. Thank you so much - we'll certainly return!

I have eaten many times at Yeni in both small and large groups and am always delighted. This restaurant hardly needs more plaudits and I rarely give any place 5 stars but I post this to help other vegetarians who may be wondering how it...More

Great little Turkish restaurant. Lovely flavours. We had dinner on Friday night and it was packed. Service was friendly and efficient inspite of that. Should book a table in advance. Would certainly visit again when in Edinburgh

I'm not sure. I guess so.
This is a question for the restaurant or anyone that can answer me. I have just returned from Crete and had the most amazing samali cake. I manage to get recipe online for it and it asks for mastic. It is very expensive to buy online and as I only need a very small amount cannot justify it. Is there an alternative that I can use or somewhere local that I can buy a small amount of this ingredient Thanks An intimate meze bar in Edinburgh's well-heeled new town, Yeni restaurant offers a mix of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. Boasting high ceilings and streams of natural light, the Yeni dining room features bohemian prints, fresh flowers and swathes of polished wood. Along with traditional meze sharing dishes, enjoy eastern-style desserts and choose from the accomplished wine stock.
