Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So disappointing!!! Went for breakfast me and my 13 year old. Place was empty waitress asked what we would like I ordered a tea and toast as shown on the menu and my daughter asked for sausages. The waitress said ‘in a breakfast bun’ and...we asked for just two sausages to this she rolled her eyes and have an expression of disgust. My daughter actually said she’s not very happy. We waited 5minutes and then she came back to our table said under Scotland’s laws we would have to leave as a child couldn’t be in the premises without ordering a full breakfast! We had to leave. Her attitude was very poor and a low level of customer service just felt like because no big breakfasts were ordered this wasn’t good enough. Nice restaurant inside pity about the waitressMore

Amazing service by all the staff and the vibe is really great. Love the music they play. Like the cleanliness of the place and liked the Moretti. Good food too. Only reason i didn't give it 5 star was because whilst children are welcome here,...there is no kids menu. I’d suggest this as the only improvement this place needs. Otherwise I’d recommendMore

Fast efficient service, was asked not long after arriving if we wanted to move to a bigger table. Drinks were delicious and brought over quickly, food was really tasty too. Close to Waverley train station and Princess Street which means it’s convenient if you are...travelling or shopping/seeing a show at the playhouse which is almost next door. Also really close to the start of the open top bus tours which is handy. Definitely highly recommend.More
