A small wonderful menu makes ordering easy. I think the highlight for me was the avacado pana cotto with the chocolate and ginger ice cream. The best thing is being from Edinburgh I can visit when I want. Put simply Amazing.

My friend and I came here on a Saturday night - good job we booked! We are both vegetarian so had the guacamole, the two vegetarian taco options and the scallion fries. The fries were so, so good and the tacos had such interesting flavours and textures and were amazing. Oh my god.. everything is delicious! Its so great that... More

We decided to try our luck with getting a table on Sunday night and luckily we got one. It's the first time we've been here and it's small and intimate but it doesn't feel cramped. The decor is great and the smells are amazing!! The food is up there with some of the best weve had and we even ordered... More

Visited Bodega 3 weeks ago and although food was tasty, I felt it was quite standard mexican food and pricey. For 3 people who ordered a few tacos and starters to share it came to £70 odd and felt there were other mexicans in ed where we could of got the same but cheaper! However it does have a nice... I highly recommend anyone to go pay a visit. The food is probably one of the best I ever had in Edinburgh, so creative and tasty. Moreover, the staff is always welcoming and happy and deserve support.

My friend and I ate at Bodega last night and can't recommend it enough! Lovely wee venue and everything we ate was great. Can't wait to go back and try more of their Tacos. The service also could not have been better. Waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive. Two very happy customers! :)

Fantastic food, good atmosphere - with only a handful of tables. BYOB is a bonus. Food tasted fresh and extremely tasty.

Visited on a Friday night and warmly welcomed by lovely staff. The restaurant is small but cosy and is clearly very popular as we saw about 4 groups being turned away in the hour and half we were there! The food here is spectacular! The black bean dip is so tasty as are the korean wings. But the highlight of... More

Friday night as the sun was setting sitting in the window seat of Bodega enjoying some of the guacamole I have had so far in Edinburgh. There menu is small but they do everything very well and their selection of tacos has something for everyone. I also have to mention the great service we received the guy who runs the... More

A dream of flavour. Flavour that leaps out at you, gets you in a headlock & slaps your lycra-clad butt. Fresh, vibrant, fusion flavours like you get in california, new york, sydney & (gasp!) London.... After eating our way around all those places, we wanted to bring our little piece of the streetfood revolution to edinburgh. & So we did. BODEGA opened in august 2013 with a mini menu & a big plan: to bring tacos to town & change the way edinburghers felt about mexican. Our ethos was fresh, vibrant, innovative & exciting food. We hope we are delivering on that, because we sure keep getting excited about it.
