I do not right reviews normally unless it is really disappointing or frustrating service. I Ordered some food from hotel room and give clear instructions to leave my food in the reception and also told them my room number as well. I waited for my...food for 1 hr 14 minutes then I called the restaurant a lady picked up the phone and told me she has left the food 5 minutes ago in the reception. I went to the reception and ask about the food, the receptionist said the food was handed over to a hotel guest who was in the area. Luckily that lady was honest and give back to the receptionist. Then I ring them to let them know what they did. The same lady told me my name was sounding Indian and when she saw Indian lady she thought that was me .. which wasn’t the case .. I m not Indian and u can’t hand over food to anyone with assumptions. When I open my food there were no spoons or tissues... when I ring back the same lady pick up the call and as soon as she knew it’s me she hung the phone so rude . Food was good but could have been well packed so wouldn’t spill everywhere. Good food Worst service ( probably in my case only)More

I don’t often post but am pretty cross with this place. Tried a home delivery from here as it had an award for this year. While the food when it eventually arrived was ok but cool, we were missing our rice order and one of...the mains had spilled into the bag having been crushed by another metal Container. I emailed and also called the restaurant next day who, to be fair eventually apologised and said they’d refund me for the rice. No offer to refund the spilled main course. I have subsequently received a £2.50 refund - the rice was more than that! There are plenty other decent Indian food restaurants in Edinburgh who deliver excellent food, get the order right, don’t spill a whole lot of main course in the bag and make the effort to refund or offer free next orders if there is a problem I won’t be ordering from this place again and suggest you go elsewhere, dreadful service and very disappointing.More

I looked for something local and the website popped with Scottish Curry Awards 2018. So we ordered and we were very, very surprised. Onion Bhajis and Chicken tikka tasted as if they had been refried. The chicken Pathia sauce was sweet, sour and had a...kick to it but, it was watery and had no texture. The chicken looked like it had been through a shredder, tiny pieces of meat. I’m very sorry to be so negative but this has to be the very worst Indian flavoured meal I’ve ever had. As you can guess we will never be back.More
