We tried this little cafe rather than the overpriced breakfast at the hotel next door. The Italian owner was charming and very eager to please. We both enjoyed a good breakfast in good surroundings

Small but perfectly formed cafe with friendly staff particularly the owner who gave us suggestions of places to visit, shop and gave directions to get there. Our breakfast (sausage and egg or just egg) in organic artisan Italian bread roll was freshly cooked, HOT and...More

Altogether, 9 of us went to this little cafe, it has stunning views of the castle and the Scottish breakfast was good. Downside is the breakfast baps were for takeaway only. Other than that it is a lovely little cafe!

Found this gem of a place. Not tucked away but on the main boulevard. Expecting big piece tags I was wrong. Great range of wholesome Italian food and low price worth checking out plus you get the great view of the castle

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
