Have to say, this was the worst meal I have ever had. Processed burger, oven chips, limp lettuce leaves and a dollop of coleslaw that had been put on the plate ages before it had been served

The burger meat is nice but I got the haggis burger and I'm afraid I was not impressed. It was definitely lacking in haggis flavour and then it is overpowered by a peppercorn sauce. To pay £10 for a haggis burger I would like to...More

We visited on New Years Day. It was a miserable and rainy day outside. The New Year blues were chased away as soon as we stepped inside. The place was buzzing. Staff were friendly and burgers were delicious. Enjoyed my cocktail too. Will return here...More

My family and I called in here for lunch last week and it definitely isn't your average burger place! Great atmosphere, brilliant location and the menu has something for everyone, including the vegetarian in our party. The young couple who own the place are great...More

The burgers add tasty and very filling!!! They were handmade and full of taste... The service from the young lady (didn't get her name) was also excellent and attentive. Recommend a visit.

Decided to go in whilst passing by as it looked nice. Burger range is very appealing with variations on classic themes. Decor is nice as well. Food is tasty and nicely presented. Burgers are buffalo meat, chicken, lamb or veggie. They are difficult to eat...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal

Description
Here at the Scottish Burger Bistro we pride ourselves in our combination of quality and value. We are an independently owned licensed restuarant specialising in hand-made Scottish Gourmet Burgers. Our Buffalo Beef is locally sourced from our friends at Puddledub Buffalo Farm, as is our Lamb and Chicken. All of our menu is freshly made in our own kitchen with locally sourced ingredients and accompanied by a fabulously tasty coleslaw! Our skin-on chunky chips are hand cut on the premises - skinny fries are also on offer! Why not splash out and try a sumptuously paired Cocktail, Scottish Craft Ales, Ciders and Beers or amazing milkshakes - we even do Adultshakes!
