Support a local business and try this fab food in a cosy spot! Great staff too :)

Fabulous food and service. We ordered the banquet for 2 and left very full and very happy as it works out a bit of a bargain. The food was amazing, especially the lamb! The fella who served us was welcoming and tentative. He was in...good spirits considering the restaurant was pretty busy and he was running the floor on his own! We were still served in good timing nevertheless. If you want a great meal in a cosy spot a little bit away from the hustle and bustle, go to Pera!More

Wonderful experience

Great place! Great atmosphere! The people who run the restaurant work very hard to accommodate you! The food was very very good! You have to get the banquet and try everything. I left wanting more!

Thanks for a fantastic night last night.

Amazing food everyone enjoyed everything served. It was a celebratory dinner and I’d organised a Belly Dancer after the meal which went down very well. Recommended

Fantastic meal

A good example of Turkish cuisine.

Original Turkish cuisine. Delicious food with Mediterrenian decoration in the restaurant. You feel the sunshine under the rainy Edinburgh weather.

So good we ate there twice!

This is the best Turkish food I’ve eaten since my trip to Beyoglu/Istanbul. Everything is made fresh to order. Subtly flavored mezes, lamb stew that melts in your mouth, and killer kunefe for dessert. All with very generous portions at reasonable prices. By The owner/chef...is delightful, as is the staff. Don’t miss it!More

Here for a friend's birthday and we had the best time. Easily the best restaurant I've been to in a while, staff were incredible and we had such a laugh. Sharing platters were delicious can't wait to go back

Incredible!

Basic and simple but very tasty

Simple and delicious Turkish food. Beautifully spiced and perfectly grilled. This restaurant looks nothing from the outside and is small and basic inside but the food is simple and delicious. It's run by the owner/chef/waiter so things may take a little time but it's worth...the wait. No drinks licence so bring your own if you want any or stop by one of the off-licences nearbyMore

Fantastic meal

Fantastic food! So good to go to a small, friendly establishment with a real love of food, as opposed to all these chains of restaurants that we all see around us. Great "homemade" food served with attention and humour. What more could you want!

Delicious freshly cooked food with a warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere!

Enjoyed our first experience at Pera! Small and friendly BYOB meze bar. We ordered 2 tasty banquets for 4 of us. Plenty of tasty food accompanied by 2 freshly baked loaves of bread. Lovely cosy atmosphere and very welcoming and friendly waitress and chef. Thoroughly...recommend and we will most definitely return! Refreshing change to visit a local restaurant who appreciates your business unlike the many chain eateries.More

Wonderful Restaurant

We were their with family. The waitress was very friendly and suggested that as it was our first time we might want to try the Sultan's banquet. We opted to do this and were delighted we had. There was lots (and I mean lots) to...eat, all of it of a very high standard and beautifully cooked. The waitress explained what each course was. We were not rushed and were able to take our time and really enjoy the food. I would happily recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed (or hungry).More
