I had to prove to my teenagers that deep fried Mars bars exist! So we bought ours from the Clam Shell. Nice, clean fish and chip shop with chairs and tables inside and out on the pavement.

Our 2nd fried fish craving. Bene's was closed so we settled for this, without the chips. The fish was fresh and batter was nice. Nothing to fault. simple quick fix for our craving.

A popular place for fish and chips, even for locals. Some items might be a shock to non Scots but it's always good quality.

I popped in and really enjoyed my visit. I admit I was a little hesitant following previous reviews but the guy who served me was very friendly and polite. Thanks again for the fab chips and fried kitkat!
