This retaurant has been about for years and it feels like you have been thrown back in time. The service from the "italian waiter" was loud over bearing and condescending, he was obviously acting a part, or perhaps I should say over acting. We were...More

Their slogan says it all. We've been coming to this restaurant for many years and always make sure to drop by when we're in Edinburgh. Thanks for always being enjoyable. And since we missed our interesting conversations with the owner this time through, we offer...More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed an authentic Italian meal here. Wine, bruschetta, smoked salmon pizza, and rigatoni with mushroom and spinach were perfetto! Wait staff were attentive and efficient. No room for dessert. Maybe next time!

We went two nights in a row-it was that good. The chicken with mushroom cream sauce and a veal in tomato sauce with fresh mozzarella were outstanding. We had gelato both nights for dessert.

Can't fault it. Our waiter was amazing as were his recommendations. Excellent meal with generous portion sizes. Service was fast and efficient. We visited for dinner and would definitely go back. 10/10 😀

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
