Unique location at the shore and its setting in this old watchtower. The restaurant is welcoming, intimate and relaxed, decorated in beautiful dark woods and maritime themes. The dinner and wine were superb and Ewen was an attentive and friendly host. We were so pleased...to have chosen Fishers for our visit to Leith.More
When a restaurant is full on a Monday night it has to be something special and indeed it was. We had the Smoked Haddock and Coley which was a first for me but both were excellent, not having had starters we had the Chocolate Brownie...and Green Apple Sorbet which again were first rate.
It’s not just the food which makes a restaurant but the staff were friendly and efficient, a nice touch was the waitress using my name when she came to the table, haven’t had that happen since I was paid to sit in Business Class!More
Had a lovely lunch in this charming spot on the shores, the sun was smiling and so were the servers in the restaurant.
It has a good mixture of fish and crustaceans, with regular favourites and also more adventurous main fish courses on offer. Produce...was local and excellent, everything was perfectly cooked.
Had a bit of wait between courses but we were having a bit of a late lunch and perhaps staff were fitting in their breaks.
Very reasonably priced for a highly enjoyable experience.More
Came here 20 years ago and it was superb, still is today. Fabulous food and service.
Have been to Fishers in the city many times which is equally good. Restaurants which stand the test of time are usually very good and this one is no...exception. Hope to be back very soon.More

I went with my husband a few days ago after reading great reviews on this place. We were very much looking forward to it that we went out of our way during our short stay in Edinburgh and took a 30 min bus ride. I...ordered the trout dish. When it came to the table it was undercooked and the vegetables and mozzarella were cold. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it especially that my husband seemed to be enjoying his food. He ordered mussels and the hake dish. However, a couple of hours later, he started feeling unwell and projectile vomited 3 times! It completely ruined our day and evening plans. Such a waste of money and time. We were so disappointed.More
