So we decided to head to the Milk Barn today for some ice cream and milk shakes. On arrival we queued for a table which is fair enough given it's been a lovely hot day. However we then had to queue to place our order and because we wanted ice cream we then also had to queue up to get... More

Love going to The Milk Barn. There is always a good selection of food and drink and of course cake and ice cream too! My niece loves the play park outside and watching the cows in the field. Staff are lovely and the service is great

A great venue for children with play areas inside and out. Bright and spacious and of course a huge selection of freshly made ice cream. Unbeatable.

Went there with my partner for a bit of lunch but clearly this is a place for families, although still good to go for a bite to eat even if you don't have children !! Small menu which is always a good thing in my book as the larger the menu the worse the quality gets. We ordered two paninis,... More

They have a wide variety of ice cream, which won't disappoint. However, the only disappointment stems from the service. It is often very slow, despite appearing to have ample staff.

I visited last week for the first time and was very impressed. It was hard to choose what to eat the menu looked so good! I settled for haggis and cheese Panini, tomato and red pesto soup and a scoop of fererro rocher ice cream. Accompanied by a pot of tea in the worlds cutest teapot. The food was freshly... More

We went here for a family outing and were a little unsure of what to expect. It was a lovely sunny day and so it was busy. We went in for food and there was a 30min wait. The staff were upfront about it so no surprises which with 2 kids under 4 is appreciated. The food was lovely and... More

We enjoyed our food and the visit. The service wasn't great - 15 minutes for coffee. Our meals came out in reasonable time, however no cutlery for my sons panini or husbands baked potato, the girl disappeared to get some and didn't come back and we had to request again. It felt like there were loads of staff but no... More

We came across the milk bar by a eBay misshap on Saturday 03/04/17 and was greeted by the owner and a staff member { the lady who is pregnant ) sorry didn't get your name .we have never met such warm and friendly people as the ones at the milk barn. We had travelled over 200 miles , they bent... More
