Cafe Wynd is a wee gem. Not only do they serve outstanding cakes (including GF) and coffee but they also have a very tasty lunch menu. Staff are friendly and helpful and service is always very good. Only down side, it's not got a lot of seating at the moment due to present Covid restrictions. Well down Cafe Wynd, keeping calm and carrying on.

Great little cafe where the staff are as good as the food. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus. Food is outstanding with the highlight being scrambled eggs with crispy bacon on sourdough with bacon jam. What a revelation that was !! Standout cake is the carrot cake but maybe share a piece as it’s huge.

Visited cafe Wynd for some lunch and coffee, visited with our 4 year old who enjoyed his waffle, place is clean and welcoming and prices are really reasonable. Staff are friendly and curtious. Can highly recommend the Wynd Breakfast the homemade spicy beans are delicious.

My daughter and I popped in so she could get a wee treat as I'd been working on her birthday the day before. Lovely girl greeted us. We both had the Biscoff cheesecake. We were not disappointed to the extent, said daughter keeps asking, " when can we go back?" Lovely decor and very clean. She is used to us being fussy about where to eat as both her parents work in the hospitality trade and we know what we like. We will definitely be back.

On a wet day, lunch at Wynd Cafe was a pleasure. It was busy but service was efficient and the staff handled the full room effectively. Nice vibe in the cafe too. I had the McDunfy (sp?) which was a delicious roll filled with sausage, fried egg, hash brown and Gruyère cheese. This was yummy, really savoury and the sausage was first rate. I was very pleased with my choice and it was a perfect, warming lunch on a damp day. Amongst our party, the herby mushrooms on sourdough toast was raved about too. The menu is quite small but provided a good range of options for lunch and I liked the fact that the cafe offered something different.

Fab lunch surprising options clearly a lot of thought into the menu. Miso and butternut soup was delicious not like any soup I have tried before. Large bowl of soup almost too much for me but it was so good. Really good coffee and I would say if you see a cake you like order or before it sells out. Banana loaf with espresso butter I have popped in a few times but it is always sold out. It was busy every table taken

My son and I really enjoyed our visit here. The brioche roll with celeriac remoulade, haggis, roast pork apple sauce and crackling was so tasty. Not enough room for cake unfortunately some of which looked amazing , which means we will just have to go back soon!!

This is a superb side street cafe just off the High Street in Dunfermline. The place has a relatively short menu of lunchtime dishes that are wonderfully well prepared. I had French Toast & my wife had Chilli & Tomato Soup. Both were excellent. The coffee has quite a high level of roast, so it is full of flavour. There are gluten-free cakes & the service is friendly. At lunchtimes it is busy, but that is a good sign. Oh, and the music playlist (Bowie, Clash) is right up my street.

Went at lunchtime and it was very busy. We had a lovely meal, breakfast for me and soup of the day for my wife. The menu is limited as mentioned by others and I have to say, there were a number of items not to my taste but the owners must be doing something right judging by the fact the place was full. The selection of cakes was very good and also the selection of coffees and tea which we sampled. This is not a traditional cafe as many people would know it but that is no bad thing. Dunfermline needs a cafe like this. There are many others in Dunfermline catering for the masses like me. Visit and make your own mind up. Lastly, the staff were excellent, especially Meghan who was our server but the other girl was also very good. Both well trained obviously.

We went to the Wynd Cafe for brunch on a day trip to Dunfermline.; it's conveniently situated close to the Abbey and other tourist attractions. The menu was subtly different from normal cafe fare; the food was attractively presented and tasted good. We enjoyed huevos rancheros and a Reuben sandwich. Their service was friendly and efficient.

What a fantastic place. Friendly staff, gorgeous cafe (loving the hanging plants!) and delicious food. A total win for our family - both gluten-free and ‘normal’. Highly recommend the GF Reuben sandwich - absolutely delicious. The all day breakfasts the others had also looked amazing and the bacon was “the best and crispiest”!

We went for lunch (followed by coffee and cakes) on Friday. The tables were well spaced out and the service was quick. There were three of us and we ordered different dishes. Really impressive original food. Just one gripe. There were large windows, but in spite of Covid they were all firmly shut. Ventilation is very important. Maybe they could fix this? We'll be back!

I really like this place, the food is good with nice veggie options and the price is decent. The cakes are nice too, as are the staff. Sadly the coffee isn't great but I will still come here often :)
