Location and contact

We are a family run fish bar and restaurant. We have been in the fish business for four generations and we hope to keep the family tradition going. All our fish is locally sourced and is as fresh as can be. We have our own fish house based in Arbroath, Where we are particularly famous for our Smokies! (Haddock cooked over a barrel, giving an intense smoked flavour) and our Humble Haddock is also a customer Favorite! We are passionate about seafood and it comes across in all our dishes from the Humble Haddock to our Seared Tuna steak! We carry a bespoke range of wines and whiskys suited to compliment your dish, just ask our serving staff for advice.

Reasonably priced seafood. The restaurant is in the back on the left. You can get fresh seafood fried, battered or grilled and the sides are decent as well. Some veg options.

We haven't had a sit in meal here but often have a carry out "fish supper" or even a "bag of chips". The chips are just the best so crispy and always piping hot. They are always happy to cook fish in gluten free batter...More

Such a great place - busy, friendly, simple and tasty fare at reasonable prices and served by helpful people - a joy to dine there.

Simple décor inside but it will be difficult to find a better range and quality of fish available anywhere. Different size of fish to suit every size of appetite. The haddock and Arbroath Smokies a real treat with dry tasty chips to accompany it.

For the past four years, we have been regular visitors to this restaurant and thankfully raved about the wonderful food and friendly service. Unfortunately the past twice have been in stark contrast regarding the food. The young girl serving the take away food was pleasant...More

For me, the best in the area. Our favourite and the bottomless fries are a hit as they are so good. Shame they’ve stopped the partnership with the cinema as that was a favourite couples night for us - fish supper and a movie. I’m...More

We all had traditional fish and chips - yes it is pricier than you would pay at your local chippy but then the restaurant setting and service were both excellent as was the quality of the food.
