We happened across this place on a December lunchtime and had a lovely experience. The decor is modern and attractive throughout, with a view through to the kitchen at the end of the room. On the advice of our server (Michela) we opted for the shared lamb chops. This was one of the most memorable dishes we have ever eaten,... More

St Andrews was extremely busy but we managed to get a table here. The food was ok but was not worth the money we paid. Nothing special. It was the first place I had been to that I had to send the soup back because it wasn't nice at all. However, the staff were lovely and couldn't have been more... More

Had difficulty finding the restaurant as the Christmas decoration at the entrance was obscuring the name! :-)) . 3 of us visited. Me, my brother & his wife. Nice decor, layout, comfortable - Nice atmosphere. For starters we had Mushroom soup - very good. Oysters were small but tasty - not exceptional. The condiment/sauce was excellent! For mains my sister... More

This was our second visit to the Adamson. We loved it the first time and we were excited to return again. We were not disappointed! Our favourite waitress was still there and she immediately recognised us which was lovely. She looked after us all night, exceptional service! Thank you Micheala. The food was out of this world.... Delicious. We praised... More

This will be short and sweet as we were so impressed, food stunning, restaurant and bar are stunning and the service is fantastic (considering the staff are young the service was excellent) would recommend The Adamson to anyone visiting St Andrews.

Apart from the quite bizarre paintings on the wall, the location and layout of this restaurant is excellent. Menu simple but encompassing, if not a little on the pricey side. Addition of a lunch menu offers some cheaper alternative - I had a perfectly good sea bream for under a tenner. Staff are attentive and professional. Added bonus of watching... More

A family get together yesterday at this restaurant, heard good things about it and we weren't disappointed, the staff were very friendly and attentive, food was very nice and I thought a reasonable price, would recommend for a nice chilled out lunch.
