Had a nice chat with the guy serving our table. He also helped to recommend a beer. Then the woman who cleared our table very patiently helped us with a specific request. And we even got extra chips!

The fact that some people have given this place anything but an excellent review beggars belief! I first started frequenting Cottiers more than a dozen years ago and have always loved the place. After a long hiatus away from Glasgow I was thrilled to return...More

I visited this with friends and had a lovely lunch, all in all. Unfortunately the soup had to be returned because it was cold, but the staff were apologetic. We had an older member in the party and had to ask for the music to...More

I just love this place. It's relaxed and the people that work here are so very friendly. Also good food for a reasonable price and they've always got some lovely ales on draft.

We popped in for dinner after our son's graduation from Uni. We had fantastic service - friendly, helpful & very professional. I had the fish and chips, and I was very happy with it. Would definitely go there again if the opportunity arises.

Wandering around the University area in Glasgow, found Cottier's in the basement of an old church building. Rustic looking place. I had fish on ciabatta and tomato basil soup.. Excellent.

Cottier's continues to provide a great place to drink some excellent beer (very good selection to suit all tastes) and have a good catchup with friends with its helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere and good music which is kept at a conversation-friendly volume. I rarely go...More

This is a very nice pub with a lovely terrace. Good for drinks and celebrations. The restaurant upstairs is beautiful. The only thing that I suggest to them is to bring some more vegan options to their menu. Then would be perfect!
