This restaurant was a pleasure to discover! The atmosphere was so wonderful (at least for my taste) it was rustic and elegant. The food was excellent, we had asparagus and prawn dishes for appetizers and the roast chicken and lamb for the main. All of...More

In terms of atmosphere this could feel like any other nice pub, however the food is on another level. The menu is entertaining in it's own right and the gammon was some of the nicest I've ever had.

A must when in Glasgow. Takes the direputable idea of Glasgows greasy food culture and shreds it. Complimenting Glasgows great historical buildings and working class routes and drags the city kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Pretty, vintage-style tearoom with a fabulous selection of freshly baked cakes and hot drinks. Cake was delicious, maybe just a little pricey.

Deliberately old fashioned furnishings, very nice staff and everything home cooked. It makes for a really great experience certainly for lunch.

We had the burger and the portion of chips was huge. The restaurant is very pretty, with a lot of character. I would definitely go back there.

Didn't eat here but came here for a quiet drink. Only to find there was an acoustic set on and had a really enjoyable night listening to live music. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Since discovering The Butterfly and The Pig we always make it a MUST for a meal at this quirky pub/restaurant. The food is delicious and very different - don't expect the fish cakes to be little flattened patties, it comes in an open pan and...More

You definitely can. They often have birthday parties and even a wedding I think. There are private rooms upstairs.
