Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a great restaurant. I am not usually a fan of buffet restaurants, and there is an ‘a la carte’ option. But the buffet had many of our favorites so we gave it a try. Wow - having lived in Asia for over 25 years...the tasty food brought back many memories of past meals and places. Very authentic tastes, and a great variety. The draught Kingfisher was just what we used to drink in Oman ! Even the staff were friendly and most accommodating.More

I love this place. We used to go a lot when we worked in Glasgow/Edinburgh but it's been a few years since our last visit. When I knew that we were going back to Glasgow for a few days we immediately booked a table here....The staff are always friendly, we've always had the buffet and they keep it well stocked. The Garlic Chilli Chicken is amazing! I was hoping it was still on the buffet options and it is. The garlic naan is very very nice and it's always reasonably priced. We hope to visit again next time we're in Glasgow - hopefully next week (I'll take some pics next time).More

Really excellent Indian food. Lovely front of house manager, and the option to choose the spice of your curry was great. However, it feels like a large school canteen, so if you are after cosy, semi-formal dining, go elsewhere as this is more of an...Indian cafe. Football on the TVs further makes it a very informal experience.More

Love Indian food but this is not at all. Starter very poor quality but over £8. Main dish chicken tandoori, no tandoori oven obviously but the chicken was tender. This a Glaswegian Indian, do not go if you are looking for the real taste.

We were in the city centre doing some pre holiday shopping and I'd heard some good reports of this place. We popped in for lunch and they offer a buffet or main menu at really reasonable prices so to mix things up we went for...1 of each to give it a fair test. Th buffet choice was great with starters, 6 mains and desserts, the main menu was comprehensive and fairly standard fare. I tried 4 of the mains, each was delicious and I accompanied them with good quality rice and nan breads all from the buffet, my other half went for the main menu Chicken Tikka which she was very happy with the portion size and quality. The staff were outstanding, friendly, smiling, happy to chat and almost encouraged me to have more from the buffet. What we didn't appreciate is it is owned by the same people as the hotel and bar/lounge beside it and they offer discounted parking for residents. Despite being surrounded by ridiculous road works which are destroying the ambience of the city centre this restaurant is a lovely haven of quality Indian food. So to summarise, I'd happily go there again.More

For me , the best place in Glasgow, for an authentic Punjabi meal. I have been multiple times and always recommend to friends and work colleagues. I switch between buffet and customised meals , depending on my mood. No matter the selection , never disappointed....Management and staff are so helpful, friendly & accommodating.More

Recommended by our hotel and they were very right - Great Indian food. Staff are all very warm and engaging and the food was excellent. They do all the traditional standard curries as well as some specials on the menu of you fancy something a...little more unusual. We also had a great keema naan - crispy on the edges and just perfect. Beer on tap is fresh and well chilled. Really enjoyed our visit and all the staff are very warm and welcoming - and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our waiter stopped us from ordering too much! We would have ordered 2 or 3 extras but he told us we had enough and he was very right - large portions. We will definitely go back - really enjoyed Bombay Blues.More

Had a great meal. The menu is pretty extensive with some great dishes. Had the haggis pakora as a starter. Wow! Popadoms were fresh and the chutney / onion salad was very tasty. Although the menu is extensive, you can still ask for traditional dishes...such as dansak, madras etc. Opted for Chicken Tikka Dansak , Hyderabad Lamb, chapatti and keema nan. Excellent meal. V tasty. Staff were great. Very attentive and willing. Got chatting to one of the staff about how we were trying to send a parcel and we were struggling to arrange it. Couldn’t have been more helpful telling us were the local post office, everi shops were. Even offered to print the ticket for us… Definitely will be back next time in Glasgow. 10/10More

We had visited here years ago as a family of 4 and enjoyed so my son and I came back. Neither of us could justify £30 for the buffet so we ate from the normal menu and it was good. Naan breads were cleverly cut...up which saves a lot of table space! Kingfisher on tap was tasting nice as well.More

I was there with a group in December for lunch and checked the buffet price on the website, 12.99. After paying i saw i was charged 19.99 each. I raised it with the manager and was told that is the Season price, i pointed out...the website is wrong and misleading, and he was not caring. I suggested even a credit and i would bring another group back again, he did not want that either. I explained i would not be back or bringing groups here again. He was ok with that and was not caring at all. Quite disappointing and poor attitude and customer services, or even able to admit the website was wrong is bad. There are many other places to go in Glasgow. I won’t be back and have told this story to all friends, family and all at my company too.More

On a Wet and miserable Saturday night visiting Glasgow on our wedding anniversary we looked up Indian restaurants near to our hotel (Hotel Indigo) and this one popped up. The service was friendly. As one of us has an onion intolerance the waiter made recommendations...as to what would be best to have to eat. The food was excellent. Will definitely be back next time we are in Glasgow.More

On a Wet and miserable Monday night visiting Glasgow I looked up Indian restaurants near to my hotel (central station area) and this one popped up. I hesitated as reviews are mixed but am so glad I went. The service was friendly and the food...excellent. I arrived just as the buffet was being refreshed but ordered al a carte - I wanted a chicken tikka masala but spicier. The waiter recommended chicken masaledar and that plus excellent pakoras and delicious garlic Nan ( came cut up and was plenty) was enough to satisfy my cravings. All in all I recommend this restaurant for great food and service. I’ll be back in my next visit. Thank you.More

What a great wee restaurant providing excellent food with a knowledgeable staff to help you choose. The personalities make this dining experience special I felt I was a guest in their home. We sampled a range of dishes from a la carte menu all excellent.
