5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Been quite a few years since I've been here but it has not changed one bit! Food is still just amazing! Staff are friendly and the prices are just right. And you cannot pass the Haggis Pakora on the menu....fab, fab, fab :)

When planning a family get-together, we once again decided to meet up at the Wee Curry Shop. Table for 6 booked, and no dramas on arrival. Food ordered (all 6 had 2 thali dishes each) and as you would expect they all arrived in prompt order and tasted fantastic. Good atmosphere, great food, perfect service and in a setting surrounded... Decided to try someplace new... Ashoka and Masala Twist were both quite busy, but the Wee Curry Shop wasn't... Figured, hey, why not try somewhere new! First mistake. Service was absolutely terrible. Food was severely disappointing. My meal came out in aluminium foil and my friend's was 100% not what she ordered. No one checked back for us to complain.... More

Went here for the first time last week having heard many times from friends how good it was. They certainly weren't wrong! This is an outstanding restaurant. Food to die for along with a very comfortable ambience. We couldnt fault a thing. Excellent customer service and the Manager was a gentlemen. This place is a must go. Great evening and... More

What a gem this little spot is. Superb Indian cuisine with an inspired fusion with the Scottish - haggis pakoras anyone? Each dish was superbly flavoured and presented. Interesting menu providing a welcome change from the bog standard curry house. I think this is a tightly run family business and it showed. Attention to detail and faultless service. Wine selection... More

I had the lunch special at this cute and clean little place. The food was very tasty and the price was right. It is in Ashton Lane up a set of stairs. The view from the windows is good as well. Lots of choices on the menu and there are lunch specials. I went because I read a review in... More

We have eat at the little Indian restaurant in Ashton Lane many times over the years and always came away delighted. The menu is not overlong with a choice of seven starters and a dozen mains. We brought our own bottle, corkage £3.50, but the restaurant now sells a few choices of wine. We three shared starters of spiced haddock,... More
