Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dropped by for lunch with family. Generous portions and tasty authentic Malaysian Chinese food. Properly spicy. Good vegetarian options. Home made soy milk - it's that level of authenticity that you don't get in most places. Service was efficient and very friendly staff.

My boyfriend and I visited today and just ordered a tea and coffee - which were delicious and very cheap. When my boyfriend spilt his drink aaallllll over me, the lady was super helpful and remade both of our drinks (even though we were both...nearly finished!!!) We didn’t have any food but it smelled wonderful. A really lovely atmosphere too :)More

Ordered the milky tea and was really impressed, I am currently on a roadtrip around the UK with my girlfriend and this is by far the best tea we’ve had (10+ places visited). Really lovely owner and a nice vibe all round!

Visited for first time yesterday, had the chicken / rice which was good, although smaller portion than anticipated. The ginger/lemon hot drink was very good and the peanut butter/condenced milk waffle desert was lovely. Service was quick and attentive.

Came for dinner with the other half and what a surprise we had. Dishes we had tasted similar to what we had in Malaysia. It's not as good as Penang but it's still well above average for being in the other side of the world....Would definitely be back.More

Good home style Malaysian cooking. HUGE portions, fresh ingredients and very very tasty. Friendly folks who can take you through the menu and customise to suit. Be warned though - spicy means spicy 🌶. We had char kwuy teow and nasi goreng - and a...couple of roti. Lunch deals offer amazing value. Can’t wait to go back.More

Nasi Goreng delivered to my hotel by Scoffable.com Very nice, quite spicy with good Malaysian flavors. All worked well except the requested VAT receipt was not suitable for reclaiming VAT, needs the VAT number. I would also have liked a side order of Sambal but...this was not on the menu. Overall I will do this again.More

Satu Satu hasn't lost its touch, great food, lovely nasi lemak (national rice dish for Malaysia), and we love the char koay teow (fried flat noodle, most popular Malaysian street food).......

They have plenty authentic choices on the menu. From drinks to food to desserts. Very surprised. The food was flavourful and authentic but a little over sweetened. We had to add some water to our soups to bland them out. They probably catered the taste...to the locals as they like a sweeter taste. But it was too sweet for us. Overall it was just okay.More

If you see an Asian restaurant filled with Asian people, you know it's authentic! I've been here a few times with my friends and we always enjoy the dishes they serve here. It might be a bit overwhelming with so many options to choose from...but you can't go wrong no matter what you choose. I've tried the penang Prawn noodles, curry laksa and creamy fish head soup (but with fillet fish) and all were packed with flavour and delicious ! I prefer the thick rice noodles over the vermicelli noodles. If you go here though, be aware that you'll walk out with the smell of food on your clothes (we don't mind!) The owner is also very friendly and her desserts are a perfect way to end the meal.More

I stumbled upon this cafe because a nearby restaurant was full. What a good find!!! I had roti canai, mee goreng and sweet and sour pork. All very tasty and made properly! The Mee Goreng is made brilliantly with ‘fire of the wok’ if you...know what I mean! The sweet and sour pork is not one of those where pieces of pork is swimming in fluorescent orange sickly sweet sauce. It’s authentic and properly made and the best I’ve had in UK! The only problem of the cafe is ventilation. Be prepared that your hair and clothes will smell like the wok after eating there. But it won’t deter me from visiting again as the food is that good!More

This place is one of my favorite maysian/Indonesian restaurant in Glasgow. In lunch time on weekdays they have lunch deal £8.45 for 2 courses. The main course portion is big. Drinks are a bit expensive but that's the same with most restaurant nowadays. Overall 9/10

Been here for lunch with my wife. We both ordered a lunch deal (starter plus main for about £9). My Laksa Curry was among the best I ever had and so was my wife’s Malaysian Vegetable Curry. The portions are very generous and the service...is friendly and quick. We’ll certainly come back!More
