I went for a late lunch with a friend at the end of November - the Table d'Hote menu. Let me say first of all that the ambience service and attention of the friendly staff was first rate, and with one notable exception the meal was excellent. However the overall dining experience was seriously let down by the vegetables which... More

As a food lover, it is strange that I haven't visited either the Buttery or Two Fat Ladies during my visits home to Scotland ( I have lived in Italy for many years). This trip I was able to kill two birds with one stone and had a delicious lunch at Two Fat Ladies at The Buttery. What can I... More

My partner and I visited here before a gig at SECC. What a charming place. We immediately felt relaxed with prompt service and cocktails (gingerbread martini was delicious). My partner is a chef and he was incredibly impressed with the quality of the food. The scallops, duck and fillet of beef were really tasty. All staff were very professional and... More

We had the dining for 8 in a private room PA Mage on a special deal. It was really good. We were made so, welcome, all the food was excellent, beautifully presented and we had a great time. Love to go again.

We have been here quite a few times, restricted to special occasions albeit but have always been very happy with service and food. Our recent visit began well, welcomed by lovely staff and seated around a lovely table as usual. We were given ample time to peruse the menu and have a pre dinner drink. We ordered our food, the... One of the group we were travelling with had booked this restaurant for us two months ago . This gave us plenty of time to read the reviews and study the menus. We were not disappointed as the service and the quality of the food presented was excellent . A good selection of wine is also on offer.

We had a great time last night. When we got to the restaurant, the waitress asked us if we wanted a pre-meal drink, which we had. Being vegan, I was offered a nice menu with 3 options for starter and 3 options for main. Once the food was ordered, we went to our table and staff must have had notes... More

Every time i visit Glasgow dining here is a must. The location is a little off the beaten track, you will not pass it by chance. Although not far from both city centre/west end, just a short taxi journey. This is my favourite two fat ladies restaurant out the three. I love the traditional warm atmosphere and haven't had a... This restaurant never disappoints and our meal last Saturday was simply perfect. Beautiful, traditional setting and a menu that makes it very hard to choose just one dish. Our food was delicious and the service both impeccable and friendly.
