Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We ordered a takeaway from Te Seba and were not disappointed - two amazing and plentiful pasta dishes (the creamy leek and mushroom and the olive, walnut and sun blushed tomato crush pappardelle) along with a fantastic vegetarian antipasti spread and dessert. The staff member who served us was incredibly friendly too and there are so many vegetarian and vegan options. Definitely the best pasta I've had in Glasgow, will definitely be back!

Pasta place has taken over from an old favourite. Really high standards across the menu. Really simple but deep flavours in the tomato, beef ragu and chicken options selected. Both fettucine and paparadelle were cooked to perfection. Small and simple menu also extended to dessert and drink options, where sharp sorbets also hit the right note too. In short, hope that this venture succeeds. Friendly service and good food at competitive prices. Minor touches to improve atmosphere and reduce cold draughts would make a considerable difference.

I have been coming to te Seba for years and it is my favourite place in Glasgow! The family are just lovely and always go above and beyond. The food is incredible, I have eaten most of the menu over the years and could not choose a favourite dish. If you are in Glasgow this place is a must!! Plus who doesn't love some an amazing play list in a restaurant.

Been twice so writing a review about the both experiences so its honest and I didn't want to write a review about a lone experience. 1st time we got the vegetarian platter to share. It came with oatmeal/digestive biscuits, For a sharing platter it was quite disappointing. Wasn't inedible just not great. For mains I got the beef ragu pappardelle, was just ok and my OH got the creamy leak and mushroom. Tasted like carbonara. Good sized portions but were told we couldn't take them home with us as no boxes available, a little annoyed but busy weekend so presumed they had none left. 2nd time we got the regular or meat antipasti. Was the same as the veg one except two bits of meat, parma ham and salami.Of course with some digestive oatcakes.really annoyed at that. For a main my OH got the Italian sausage fettuccine which again tasted like carbonara and I got the garlic, chilli, pappardelle. My dish had nothing but chilli to the point I couldn't eat, I like chilli but was nothing else, I mixed some with Oh and it was better. Again we couldn't take it home despite neither of us eating more than two forkfuls. Wine was good and the servers were good, felt a little rushed at times and the only issue with staff was someone kicking about in sports kit. Don't expect a tuxedo but sports kit is a bit too casual. I won't go back as the food isn't great, the sharing platters barely fit for one and even if it was I wasn't overly expensive, twice we weren't allowed to take our food we paid for home.

This is the third time we have been to Te Seba and it doesn't disappoint. The pasta is amazing, so so good! We both got the slow cooked beef ragu and it was delicious. Also got the bread and oil, portion was huge and it was very tasty. Service was also great and there was a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

We came here for pasta and prosecco and that is exactly what we got! The pasta is probably the best I've had in Glasgow, and the different prosecco options were delightful as well! Our food was served very quickly, and the staff were so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I would defo go again!

Ok so very honest review: My friends and I came here for a meal on a Wednesday night and I will 100% be back; the pasta is amazing but we did have a lot of issues with the service which is as a shame - but not enough to stop me coming or more pasta! Cons: 1. We arrived on time for our reservation but the table wasn’t ready but the waitress very quickly cleaned it for us. However, she forgot cutlery which we had to ask for after our mains arrived. Even then, there were only 2 napkins for the 3 of us. 2. We ordered bread and olives to start but we were not supplied with a dish for oil or to put the olive stones. I’m not being picky - we saw that other tables had these and again had to ask. 3. We waited over 20 minutes to get our drinks order taken and another 15 or so for food order. Pros: 1. A lovely selection of wines and the Prosecco measures are absolutely massive! 2. The pasta was To. Die. For. I would have it every night if I could. 3. Although there were some issues with the service, the two waitresses on that night were incredibly friendly and helpful - my friend has a serious onion allergy and one waitress made sure to check every dish so she could choose safely. To be fair to the waitresses, the restaurant was packed (maybe 40 covers?) and there were only two of them and they also had to serve drinks from the bar. The restaurant has a lovely cosy family atmosphere and I am still dreaming about the pasta. I think it would just be better to have a few more staff on!

Visited here this evening and had a pleasant enough meal, the atmosphere and general layout of the restaurant is nice. The attitude from the guy serving us was absolutely deplorable, to the point I wondered why he works in the service industry. Blatantly lied to our face when we asked where our nibbles to have with our drinks were, 15 minutes after ordering them. He said they were on the way, but clearly had forgotten them. This was after forgetting our drinks, which we had already waited 15 minutes for, before having to ask again. The generally huffing and puffing, and the way he spoke with us was as poor as I’ve experienced in a long time. To the point I’d never return here. If you forget food or drinks, just offer a small apology and say it’ll be with you shortly. Don’t lie and try pretend otherwise. For a small restaurant serving 10 tables (mostly couples) then there is no real excuse when you have 3 staff serving. The food was nice, without being amazing. Spoiled by the attitude of a waiter trying to act like a bit of an alpha.

As a repeat visitor, I always have an exceptional experience every time. As a small business owner in the area, I am always recommending Te Seba to my customers who are looking for a place to eat in the area. 10/10 every time!

We have only recently discovered te Seba and it has now became our regular go to place for pasta. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and it's the best pasta I've tasted in Glasgow. The beef ragu and sausage dish are both superb.

This is hands down the best pasta I have ever eaten in my life. Coming from an Italian family we have been to many Italian restaurants around the UK and Italy, but this one takes the cake. From the service, to the drinks, to the quality of the pasta, just unbeatable. Keep up the good work!!

We had the most beautiful dinner here tonight for my mum's birthday - the food is incredible, Bellini's just perfect and the staff are just the best. Te Seba, a great spot - and thank you for the lovely surprise for my mum at the end of the meal. We will be back - thank you, thank you 😊Annie!

I’ve been to the restaurant three times now and at every visit the food and service seem to improve. I’m not sure if that’s because I fall more in love with it! Excellent service and I will surely return. A MUST do if visiting Glasgow.

Last night was our first visit to Te Seba and it certainly will not be our last. The best pasta we have had in Glasgow and definitely somewhere that we will be recommending going forwards. Special mention also to the bread which is fantastic and served warm straight out the oven.
