I have been to this bar many times and loved it, so much in fact that I chose to take 14 of my friends and family here on our recent visit to Glasgow in March. Realising that we were a big group I phone back in January to book a table for food and drink. Unfortunately I was told that... More

I was really disappointed after a recent trip to Bier Hall. The food was greasy, tasted a bit off and it's clear that fresh ingredients aren't used. The place smelt like a mixture of damp dog and bleach. The staff are nice and friendly but I won't be back.

Good beer choice, excellent pizzas, friendly staff and great outdoor setting. It's a good place to watch the world spin around.

I've been a fan of BH for almost 10 years. It's changed very little. And the constant which keeps pulling me back is the delicious thin crust well-fired pizzas. Bold choices include: hoi sin duck; spicy merguez sausage and the BH quattro stagioni - a true classic. It's dark, downstairs and cave-like but full of charm and character. And they... More

Great little spot hidden in the middle of Glasgow. Passing trains cause a bit of a stir as the place rumbles when they go through. Doesn't take away from the fun, probably opposite. The beer menu is insane. We tasted beers from every continent, they do Steins which are a bit of fun, but hit the bottle menu. Much better... More

Really nice little bar, good atmosphere. We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon but managed to get a table for 5 easily enough. Really good selection of beers and ales but unfortunately I only drink cider haha. The massive tankers of beer are a cool touch too also coming with a bratwurst or a pretzel. 2 for 1 pizza is... On entry the bar has a damp, musty smell although to be expected as in a basement. A friendly waitress seated us and took our drinks orders when we were ready (this took a while due to the vast selection available). We ere enjoying our drinks when we noticed the expiry date on one of the bottles had passed. I... More

Went here last night to get the goulash served in bread bowl which was absolutely delightful as are the pizzas any time we visit. The issue I have is for a place charging over £5 per pint of beer (which I don't have a problem with) but in the toilets instead of replacer/ repair a cheap door you fill holes... More

What an unexpected surprise - at the bottom of a fairly gloomy set of stairs with a bouncer /doorman on the street entrance.. my hubby & I had gone in search of a restaurant recommended by his friends & failing to find it went to the next one on their list - the Bier Halle and it was brilliant !... Have been here several time now and its always busy, the choice of beers is excellent and theres always some kind of deal on - 2for1 pizza, 2 steins & a free pretzel or hotdog... Great for a drink and a catch up as we did with friends the other night. Can easily spend a few hours here
