Celino's at the east end of Alexandra Parade is possibly the best Italian we have had in a very long time. The food is exquisite - you have to try their prawn starter - and the service so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and so very inviting and nothing, but nothing, is too much trouble. We both had... More

Had heard good things about Celino's so visited for brunch last Saturday. I had the scoobie snack and my partner had the spagnola eggs. Both were delicious and a nice change from other breakfast/brunch options. The coffee was good and the pistachio cannoli was amazing. We'll definitely visit again for dinner.

We stopped by here on the off chance we could get a table after reading the reviews on here. We are so glad we stopped by we had lovely starters, breaded cheese and a deli taster board to start. Big portions! My husband had the calzone for main which looked and tasted amazing. The dough was so tasty. I had... More

We went last night for the Wednesday tapas. It's always good to walk a few hundred yards to Celino's and get fed. I hadn't been for their tapas for a while and I forgot how good it is. 3 massive bowls of delight- more than enough to leave me feeling full (I'm not a man who feels full often). Started... More

Everyone else on here seems to be raving about this place but we found it very cramped, the food was decidedly so-so, hot meals were served on cold plates, they didn't have the dessert my mum wanted (run out), the coffee was served with the dessert (meaning by the time you got round to it it was cold), no-one bothered... Celino's is my favourite Italian in the city, breakfast, lunch and dinner I've never had a bad experience here. Take always are also amazing. Was just in for breakfast with my flatmate and had the French toast with mozzarella and bacon (again, as always) and it's the best. I tell my friends to visit just for it! Staff are always... More

We were needing lunch in Glasgow and found this gem online. It is really welcoming and characterful with wonderful food. The choice is excellent and our meals very very tasty. We will definitely be back. The deli looks really interesting too.

We have being going to this wonderful deli/trattoria for 5 years and love it at any mealtime. The lunchtime special menu is varied and great value with dishes from the a la carte menu included. Service is always efficient and the staff are happy and friendly: especially Alan and Jamie as well as owner Claudio who always recognises return customers.... More

Ate here on a Monday night in February. We booked for 8:30 but we're a little late, due to our taxi taking ages to come, which was no bother to them. I had an antipasti which had beautiful meats salad and pickles on the plate which came with nice bread as my starter. For my main I had carbonara (my... More
