We had a wonderful meal here, steaks were cooked to perfection, hand cut chips delicious, server very attentive and informative. The only downside was that we had been added a 10% service charge, for a party of 5, and I hadn't realised that until the next morning. So our server was well tipped at 20%, as we had given him... This is one of my favourite places. We've spent over £300 here this year for various things. However this week we were crammed into a seating arrangement which saw us less than 2 feet from the people in the next table. We were so close I could hear the bloke next to me jaw's clicking. Best to fix your booking... More

However, what we had was well cooked and tasty wish we were able to finish the lunch i know it wasnt the staff fault but i felt... More

Came with my partner for a treat and I was not disappointed. Huge variety of steaks to choose from and sharing steaks available. I had the fillet which was cooked to perfection with a peppercorn sauce and my partner had tbone which was delicious. Bit pricey but worth it.

Went on recommendation from friends and didn't disappoint. The bread they serve at start is amazing, that I wasn't expecting. Also the chips are prob best I've tasted. My wife had the surf and turf special, lobster cooked to perfection and her fillet was perfect. I had the house fillet and although I've definitely had better fillet steaks this was... More

Well looked after on arrival, good garnishes on a double Brockmans. Shown to draftiest table in world. Was well manoeuvred to better table. Had crab and Côte de boeuf. Mildly undercooked hand cut potatoes and missing creamed spinach. But I don't care. The meat was fabulous and the remedied 'chips' were tremendous. Service was hypnotic - fabulous but nearly fawning.... More
