We were gifted a lunch for 2 voucher. Staff made us feel so welcome on arrival and we were sat at a lovely booth. We had 4 courses with 2 further tasters. Every course was explained to us and we were given the perfect amount...to time between courses. I can be a little fussy with foods but everything we were served was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I do not like fish and the first course was adapted for my personal taste. A wonderful and unique experience which will be rememberedMore

Absolutely excellent. A fairly intimate restaurant not too far from the city centre. We had the 7-course tasting menu with the Discovery Wine Pairing, and it did not disappoint! Each and every course was delicious, and most of the pairings accentuated the dishes! There was...a pairing that we felt didn't work, and the staff were keen to take feedback on board and ever so friendly in doing so. Went for the Krug as a flourish, and it was also paired beautifully with a dish. Overall fantastic experience - it's certainly expensive, but very well worth it as a treat!More

With only a day to spend in Glasgow, we have picked Cail Bruich as our fine dine experience for this city. As we needed to go back to Edinburgh that night, we opted for the 5 course menu to ensure we have enough time to...catch the train. We were seated at a small table for 2 by the wall, not the most ideal even though I have booked a month in advance but its acceptable. Maybe someone else has booked even earlier. As a gentle reminder, the pictures on TripAdvisor is not the current setting and decor. They have probably renovated recently and is more refined as a Michelin star establishment. The tasting menu has a good mix of seafood and meat dishes but what impressed me was the bread. It has a strong buttery taste and served as if it just came out of the oven. While this may seem simple but not all restaurants can offer this. The scallops in kiwi sauce was also a very nice combination. Usually, I am not too fond of mixing fruit into the sauce or food but I found this to be surprisingly clean and refreshing. The veal with spring white truffle added added a taste of exquisite touch to this course, while the monkfish has a bit of Asian influence with the XO and ginger and was also cooked to perfection. Out of all the courses, I found the berkshire pork to be a bit overly fat. If a leaner cut was picked, I think it would be better. Overall a very pleasant meal, with a bottle of 2014 Olivier Jouan Burgundy Hautes- Cotes de Nuits, it brings the whole experience to another level. They also have a great selection of whiskies and a Macallan trolley with the spherical ice machine on display. Note: This restaurant requires a full payment upon reservation and while I have paid for 3 persons initially, we only had 2 dining ultimately. As there is a small admin charge for refund, I just asked them to keep the excess since I knew I would be opening wine. For others who may not be spending too much on drinks, you may want to confirm exact number of people before making a reservation.More

A long-awaited visit to a restaurant that we had heard so much about proved to be worth the waiting. While there was no obvious reason for using Scottish Gaidhlig to name the establishment, the food and service certainly matched, even exceeded, the expectations raised by...its name - and as Scottish Gaidhlig is one of Scotland's official language, why not?!More

Soooo good. A gift voucher, (otherwise I could not have gone), which I shared with friends. My first experience of a tasting menu, and what a brilliant way to be introduced to this kind of experience. Not so much a meal, more a journey into...the delicious and creative. Amazing food, presented beyond imagination of ordinary folk, lovely staff, no haughtiness....just a genuine delight in the food they make and a desire to make your evening great.More

The truth is, fine dining is pricey; however at Cail Bruich you never feel short changed in the least. You possibly won’t think this matters but even the cutlery, plates and glasses ooze class. Even the menus & wine lists are a delight to the...eye & touch. The interior is beautiful. Very understated in a chic & cool way that somehow promotes a confident certainty that your night is going to be special. The staff are personable, knowledgeable & seemingly always on hand. I imagine the last of these is due to well planned & detailed staff requirements being met to ensure the diner has a flawless experience. Oh and there’s food too. I’m 58 and it’s very rare that any food I have surprises me but that’s what happened with every course I had. It was an otherworldly food consuming experience and utterly delicious. As an added bonus for me, as a wheelchair user, the whole night went as smoothly and hassle free as I could ever have hoped for. It’s not always the case when eating out I can tell you. Bravo Cail BruichMore

This is the best restaurant i have eaten in anywhere in the world. Our dinner for 4 was nothing short of outstanding. The Michelin Star it has been awarded in my view is better than other award winners. Dinner : Perfectly served and each course...explained in detail by the staff. Wine : considered choice and excellent. Fine dining at its very best and we have booked again.More

Visited for the first time. Wow. We both had the 5 course menu and the flavours were out of this world. The surroundings and service were also amazing. Only downside is the price of sparkling wine, 2 glasses £36. I know it fine dining but.......... Will definitely return and would recommend to anyone wanting to experience the highest standards of flavour.More

There were 2 options for the tasting menu at different prices. I think it's would be best to look at the website as we were paid for so not sure of the final cost.
