Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well above average patisserie. Beautifully presented with interesting different flavours. Raspberry cheesecake definitely the best.

We ordered a birthday cake for my wife’s 60th; after been given three options: a cheesecake, a Black Forest and a sponge cake with pistachio and strawberry we opted for the latter. Well, the cake was sent on time to the restaurant where the dinner...was taking place on 26/08/23 pm. When served and candles were blown the cutting of the cake revealed a blob of cream covered by a green gel all sitting on a 5mm sponge mixed with pistachios. The strawberries could not stay on that gel and blob and each piece fell completely apart to the days stay of the guests and most of all of my wife’s. A completely tasteless mix of rubbish. An absolute mess. Now my daughter is making a new birthday cake with strawberries and whipped cream so that we can at last celebrate. A waste on £50. Sad! Very sad. Avoid that place at all costs. It’s costly for nothing!!!More

we went here for the desserts which online looked amazing, we purchased nine desserts. all of which were gluten free which is good for coeliacs. sadly we didn't enjoy most of them, the cheesecake macaroon & apple were good, but the other desserts were not...for us. this is probably due to personal taste. service and everything else was goodMore

Omg I had one of the exotic pastries and I am in love. It was insanely good. Such an amazing flavour and so different from anything I have ever tasted before. Only problem now is I know where it is and I probably be spending...a lot of time going to try all the other ones. Service was lovely as well and the shop is beautiful. Would give 10 stars if I could. Go you won't regret itMore

I was running a marthon and hit my first wall. mind you this doesnt normally happen but around my 6th lap of the track I felt a tad peckish and sluggish (probably just the years just catching me with me haha (Im 54)) joking aside...I was running a marathon and got a bit pekish so I stoopped in at the nearest cafe for a pit stop and piss. after my trip to the old loo (a common occurunce in my old age and failing bladder (im 54 btw and the other equipment is in tip top shape)) I walked past the dusty, disgusting and dank carpet that looked like it hadnt been hoovered in months I approached the counter as usually (one foot in front the other yknow) and the young waitress was friedly despite my sluggish, sweaty apperance from the aformentioned marathon I was running still in my prime haha (Im over 55 yknow)) anyway I approached the counter and inquired if I could precure and apple to assist in my efforts for overcome the stamina extensive task of the martohon (56) I was given an apple. Green. on a plate with a knife and fork, odd dcision but stranger things have happened mind you me being a 57 year old chap still in the prime physicallity. so i too this apple by the hand and bit into it with immense force and to my utter dismay, shock and disbelief the familiar crunchy texture of apple I have grown to be accustom to this my youth as a lad in the highlands on my father apple farm. This apple was.... dun dun duuuuunnnnnn soft and delicate!!!!!!!!! I was shocked, I was pissed and I was hungry. I devoured the apple of of course as it was most delicatble despite my mixed feelings spurred from the edible betrayl. The cake slowed me down and I only placed first by 2 miles but I dont regret it one bit. fabulous establishment despite the tricky trappings of its advertising.More

So special to come to this lovely little cafe. The display cabinets are a delight to look at. The selection of flavours superb and the colours so fresh. Everything perfectly presented. Delicious coffee too. So disappointed when I went to the loo downstairs to be...met with a stair carpet that looked like it hadn’t been hoovered for a month. Really no excuse for this. It just spoilt the whole experience.More

Creating the order was simple. SO many amazing choices!! As promised the afternoon...tea arrived on time, beautifully and carefully packaged, clearly with love. There was SO much my elderly aunts had 2 afternoon teas - one on the birthday and the next one on the following day. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Visited today for afternoon tea. The sandwiches were lovely and nicely cut & presented, the scones & the cakes were absolutely delicious. We’ve just devoured the brownies and cookies at home (thanks for the takeaway box! 🙂) which were probably the best brownies I’ve ever...tasted. Would love some further veggie cake options for my veggie partner…regardless, however, think it’s fair to say, we have both fallen in love with this place and can’t wait to be back soon 🥰More
