Have been here before and came back because we wanted a bit more than the usual "Indian". Started with aloo tike and veg pakora nicely presented. Then had a chicken biryani and a masala dosa. But great as usual the masala dosa is the best...value in town.More

Great place for authentic Indian cuisine. I’ve had a few dosa in my time but this was amazing…crisp, fresh dosa with amazing accompaniment’s. Chicken and veg pakora were excellent also, please also try the malabar paratha..nice and light with not too much oil. Would definitely...recommend!More

Lovely meal served by the friendliest and most helpful staff of any restaurant I’ve been too. Took time to explain the dishes and even phoned for a taxi for us after the meal. We will be back.

Having read a great review on Facebook (Glasgow’s Good Food Group) we decided to give it a go. The food was exceptional. We were staying in Glasgow for the weekend and fancied an Indian meal. Found this place by chance…. what a lucky find. The restaurant is quite small and was busy, always a good sign, but the atmosphere was good and the staff were attentive and...service was quick without us feeling rushed. Now to the main event, the food. A lovely menu with a good mixture to suit all tastes. We don’t particularly like overly hot curries but the flavours in both dishes we chose were absolutely delicious. Apparently the chef grinds all his own spices and it was evident he is a talented guy. Portion size was just right and we found the meal and accompanying drinks excellent value for money. We can 100% guarantee you will enjoy Madras Cafe and we will definitely be back next time we are in Glasgow.More

Brilliant friendly service and kindness as a someone eating alone and felt welcomed not just by staff but by other people eating which is a testament to the staff and place . Food beautiful and authentic and not greasy . Highly recommend
