This place is nice to eat when your taking a break from work. The interior isn't the most inspiring, but the staff are very friendly and the food is decent for a cafe in the station. The prices are good as well, with an average tasty pasta dish costing around £5.60, which is very good. I would give this place... More

We visited Caffe L'Ombrelloni using a Groupon Voucher and like alot of other writers did not know what to expect but were very impressed with the food and service we received, The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was fresh and very tasty. We also enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and will definitely be returning.

Bought a Groupon voucher for this before we went to Glasgow so didn't know what to expect, checked it out during the day(just on the outside of Central station) and must say was a little dissapointed from the outside, it's not a restaraunt as you may think more like a cafe, wasn't over impressed with the menu either, no pizzas... More

We visited Caffe L'Ombrellone with a Groupon deal, which was very reasonable (main meal only). We decided to go in the afternoon for lunch. We entered via the Argyle Street "Umberella" entrance and felt very underwhelmed by the inside of the cafe, quite dingey. But we were happy when the waitress took us through the other door to sit outside... More

visited caffe l'ombrellone as we had a groupon voucher. the location is really convenient - on argyle street right near where the central train station is. though we had made a booking for later in the evening, they were very flexible when we turned up early. the deal entitled us to two courses each - either a starter and main...
