looks like an old church inside with windy steps and levels , very interesting and if in Glasgow you should go have a drink and look around it . Is one place I like to start drinking if going to town :) also reasonable prices for being in Glasgow city center.

We called into Waxy O'connors for a drink on New years Eve and we were impressed. Set over a few floors, the bar is like a Tardis, nooks and crannies all over the place! We asked about tickets for that night, but were told it sold out weeks ago. Would loved to have spent the night there. Maybe next time!!... More

What a fab night... music great. Good to see the DJs. It was busy but not crowded. Staff were great too.. Brilliant way to see in the New Year 😁

I liked the place. Original, quirky, imaginative and worth a try. Trouble is that, like the name, there was a madam Tussauds falseness about it. It's aim is to make money, rather than show hospitality and genuine warmth. Not the staff, who were very pleasant but a pretence that wouldn't get me rushing back. Hey Ho - as long as... More

Great pub! Love the music and the layout! Was there last night and a few of the bars were closed which was a bit of a pain, but other than that we had a good night!! Toilets clean and well stocked. Staff very nice!!

Waxy's is usually reasonably good for pub food, but today -- maybe they were short staffed -- they let themselves down badly. The pie and veg were both cold and undercooked. I sent it back, got the pie back scalding hot, pastry cold and soggy, veg ok, mash cold. Won't go back.

We visited on Friday for our works night out. Everything was amazing from the food to service to the amazing interior- we had out own private room with the most attentive staff. Can't wait to book again for next year. Thanks for a memorable night! Merry Christmas
