Nice traditional Scottish breakfast served accompanied by the occasional rumble of the nearby subway.

I used to love this place for its fab salads chicken and chorizo esp but returning after its revamping I'm so disappointed. The decor now looks like a kids nursery, primary coloured non matching tables and chairs. Menu both limited and expensive, only veggie salads on offer, I ordered bbq chicken wings and chips, only got the wings, flavour didn't... More

Hi Eileen, thanks for taking the time to make a review. Regarding your complaint about the chips you received which you say were under cooked, it is impossible to comment further as you did not bring this to our attention at the time, i can say if we were made aware of this on your visit we could have rectified... I really like this place not many cafes in Govan but this is definitely the best one. The coffee is nice and both breakfast and lunch are good. Good value for money too and on a nice day sitting outside is pleasant.

The food here is really lovely, the menu is varied and good options for vegetarians. I just wish it was a bit bigger as it's been full the last couple of times I have visited and table booking isn't allowed.

Have been here 3 times, and can't fault the food! Last couple of times didn't find this particular staff member very friendly. Ordered steak baguette, and cranberry Brie and walnut ciabatta. Food was lovely, but I had asked the waitress if I could have my latte with my sandwich, then she promptly walked over with the coffee. That was acceptable as... More

Quality food and coffee in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, varied menu with fresh ingredients. Been in here a few times cappuccino and a Cajun grilled chicken salad. Coffee comes with side biscuit and salad crisp leaves and tasty chicken QUALITY. If your going anywhere for a quality customer service this is the place

Beside Govan bus station I had no expectations other than to spend an hour between meetings. This is an honest cafe serving above average food at extremely reasonable prices. Service was efficient, quick and accurate. The menu had something for everyone. Well done to them and if you are in the area I doubt you'll find better. As in the... More

I met friends there yesterday and tried the hot chocolate. The swirled cream on top was so high that all my friends burst out laughing-and it not only looked great but tasted great too-with added marshmallow which added to the flavour Everyone also ebjoyed the cakes. One of my friends is over from New Zealand and she just loved the... More

Visited this place with a friend who had had a coffee there. We both had vegetarian curries ( menu is very veggie friendly) the meals were fantastic. I had a hallumi curry which was amazing, Really nice atmosphere, quick service and right across from the subway....oooh and you can bring your own bottle !

We stopped off for late lunch on Saturday at Cafe 13 having heard good reports of this eating place in Govan. Govan has great character and heritage but has yet to get itself on the visitor highway. However, through the efforts of local champions some good things are happening (Govan Stones - hogbacks etc). One of the pioneers of change... More
