Excellent food, not just the usual choices at an Indian Restaurant. Tasted home-cooked with interesting flavours, spices and sauces. Good choice of drinks available too.

Repeat visit to this wonderful establishment. The staff were friendly, attentive and polite. The food was outstanding,we tried a dosa for the first time and were not disappointed. Curries were first class as usual. Excellent value.

Lovely lovely food, great service, especially from Jithu. We normally go to the Dundee restaurant which is fabulous too & were delighted to find one in Glasgow. Thank you very much.

We decided to eat here as it was close to our hotel and where we were going later. We taken to a table very quickly and given menus but we were there at least 20 minutes before our order was taken for both drinks and...food. We then waited ages for the drinks which were fine. The onion bhajis were revolting- the worst we have ever had and did not resemble any onion bhajis we had had before. Our main courses were however delicious and plentiful.More

We were in Glasgow last week and decided to stop by at Rishi’s, mainly because it was close to our hotel. We had just flown in from the US and were tired and jet lagged. We just wanted a cup of tea and some snacks....We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and helpful the owner was. He saw that we were not familiar with the menu and even helped us pick what to order. The best surprise was the food. We got the medu vada and samosa chaat accompanied by steaming hot cups of ginger tea, and everything was delicious. We were so happy with the food that we decided to go back for dinner. Dinner time was busier, which speaks of the popularity of the place. Despite this, the staff was professional, attentive and extremely friendly. This time we ordered the mixed tandoori platter which came with grilled lamb chops, grilled prawns, sheesh kabab and grilled chicken along with some drinks. We were blown away by how delicious everything was. Each meat was cooked to perfection and flavored just right. The rice was aromatic and flavorful. Was also very impressed with the service and professionalism of the two young ladies that helped us- Sangavi and Jitu. Their friendly and helpful attitude made our first day in Scotland even more special.More

This was our second visit to Rishi and i am pleased to say it was as good as the first time, we were made very welcome, the staff were very polite and helpful but most of all the food was first class, presentation, quality and...full of flavour, the price was another bonus as two starters, two mains and drinks £46, a real bargain.More

The food presentation and the taste was very good. The drawback was the quantity. Would recommend having a little more portion size. We had gobi manchurian and it literally had only 5 pieces..

I recently dined at Rishi's Indian Aroma in Glasgow and tried the paneer dosa and chicken kothu porotta. The paneer dosa was quite good, with a crispy texture, but the chicken kothu porotta didn't meet my expectations. Personally, I found the kothu porotta at Rishi...in Stirling to be better in taste. I would rate my experience 3/5. One disappointing aspect was that my dosa was initially placed on another table, and by the time the manager realized and informed the waiter, another customer had already started picking at it. The waiter then took the dosa from that table and placed it on ours without changing it, which felt rather insulting. Customer treating was 3/10.More

Nice resteraunt, however service was chaotic in that hot plates served 8 minutes before the start of food. Plates cold before food served One person in our party served 5 minutes before the rest of the party and that meal was missing a sauce. Food...was excellent but rating reflects service .More

Myself with my 3 friends went there for a dinner around 7 to 7:30pm, we ordered 4 dosa, 2 kothu parrota, and some starters. Dosa was not warm only the potato masal was warm I asked the waiter he says its cold outside that's why...its cold..... weird!!. With addition to that kothu parrota is not kothu parrota its actually called chilli parrota, at least the waiter should have told us this is different kind of parrota try something else but he din't. The taste of the dosa was good but the kothu parrota/chilli parrota whatever you name it was not up to the mark. Needn't say this if had some better experience ""never coming to Rishi's""More

I suggest that you contact the restaurant directly to enquire about their kitchen's methods of food preparation to ensure that you are not exposed to egg products. Enjoy!
