Best quality Chinese food we’ve had in a long time, I visited with my wife and daughter on a spur of the moment choice before a gig. We went straight to mains and we all really impressed and surprised, the quality of the chicken and beef was fantastic, very well cooked and big portions. All the food has a really fresh look and taste and piping hot, service was friendly, looking forward to returning soon

Went out for a family meal, 11 of us. We had a table in a side room as there was a very large number of Chinese student out for Chinese New Year. The service was good though considering it was very busy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and we all enjoyed the food, portions are good, food was hot and very tasty, my nephew had to wait for some time for his meal as there must have been a bit of a mix up but when it came it was lovely. We had a cake for mums birthday, 85 yrs., they supplied plates, napkins and took some photo's for us. We all had a great night, will be back again.

8 of us arrived at 7:00, to a huge Marble Circular table, that was topped with a revolving Marble Lazy Susan that meant, passing plates and drinks to others across the 6 Foot diameter Disc, was an effortless spin away. We ordered Drinks and Table Water. Bottled Water is expensive, and Scotlands tap Water, from our own Loch Kathrine, is clear, fresh and FREE. We ordered appetisers/Starters such as Salt & Chili Soft She’ll Crab, Salt and Chili Squid, Green Beans in Garlic Sauce, several Dim Sum such as Pork and Prawn Dim Sum, Spring Rolls, Lettuce Wrap Rolls all served piping hot, all exquisite and delicious! The Main I had was Chili Beef, but there were lots more too numerous to mention, again all delicious, and again served fresh and piping hot. The Fried Rice was so deliciously flavoured, I could eat it on its own, which I did. The amount served per person in individual containers, was more than sufficient. The portion size of each Main Course was plentiful as well, no much the Starters, for example only 2 Soft Shelled Clams, 4 Dim Sum per type ordered. But there were enough variety of Starters ordered it wasn’t noticeable as we shared bits of each. Service was fine, slight language issues regarding the dividing up of the Bill into 2 separate cheques, each for 4 people, but nothing that wasn’t sorted out amicably. I would go here in a heartbeat!! In fact I would live in their Kitchen!

We booked through a recommendation from a friend. After a short wait we were seated but then waited at least 15mims for anyone to approach us to get a drinks order.. Further wait for drinks and then we ordered a starter and a main meal.. we got served our starter 25mins later, then our main 55 mins after this, with some people were obviously being served before us. This might be acceptable to some but when the food arrived I wasn't impressed, 3 starters 3 main meals and 6 soft drinks total came to £90.. Won't be back, highly priced mediocre food and bad service.

I walked 45 mins to get to Loon Fung in time for their advertised start time for takeaway. Discovered they are still closed for refurbishment! Why don’t they just put a line on their website to say when they are planning to reopen? The current website tricked me into making a long walk for no reason. The eateries around them are also closed and I had to walk home and cook for myself. Massive disappointment for someone fed up with home cooking.

There were 8 of us and we booked a table in advance for 9pm, We were a group that were catching up for the first time in 9 months and were looking fwd to a good night. The welcome was very friendly and the service quick and efficient. We ordered some drinks then wine for our table. The food that was served was excellent enjoyed by everyone so you would think that my rating should be higher. Half way through our meal we ordered 2 more bottles of wine but only one arrived, when the mains were cleared we were offered desserts but declined and were then immediately presented with our bill despite not requesting it. We pointed out that we were still waiting for a bottle of red and were told thst the bar was closed, by this time it was 10.30pm. When we pointed out that there was half of the table still with half a bottle of wine and we has previously ordered but never recievec the bottle of red, again we were told the bar was closed. We booked here to enjoy a nice evening sitting around the circular table catching up on 9 months but the minute we put our forks down we felt that we were no longer welcome, there was a full on party going on in one of the down stairs rooms yet despite this we didn't get served. A shocking way to finish what otherwise was a lovely experience. If you want to finish early as a restaurant then don't take 9pm bookings, but I suppose the attraction of table of 9 spending 400 pounds is 1 1/2 hours swings that...not for us won't be back customer service levels big disappointment

Went here at 1pm on 03/05/23 for the first time we were going to the King's theatre and found this restaurant round the corner. It was busy however we were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our table. We ordered the business lunch 2 courses for £10.95 a selection of about 6 starters and about 8 mains I had chicken noodle soup then sweet & sour chicken with fried rice all dishes were delicious in taste and the portions were adequate. The staff were very attentive however not intrusive we were not rushed at anytime and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will be returning in the future.

We went based on recommendation via Facebook, and glad we did! It's always a good sign when there are lots of Chinese eating at a Chinese restaurant! The restaurant was very spacious and comfortable. Ordering was very easy, tick the items off a list, the menu has photos of all the dishes. They arrived steaming hot, very tasty, good quality, authentic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, highly recommended!

Visited Loon Fung to celebrate a family birthday (for the second year in a row as enjoyed it last year). We all enjoyed our food immensely, and their large round tables are brilliant for large parties. The service was excellent and prices very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

We went for lunch here one Saturday, we haven't been for about 4 years as we were put off by the attitude of the staff. However we decided to give it another go and much to our surprise the staff were much nicer and more helpful, we had a lovely table on the raised balcony area which was just perfect, the table was roomy and we weren't rushed to order our food. They have an excellent wine list and the prices are very reasonable. As a starter I had soft shell salt and chilli crab - simply delicious and my husband had crispy salt and chilli chicken which he said was gorgeous, I had duck chow mein for a main again scrumptious and my husband had crispy beef szechuan (with extra chilli!!!) and egg fried rice, the portions were huge and we asked to take what we left home with us (which actually made another meal each and it was really good reheated). The prices were excellent and the service was good. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

The whole experience was amazing. The service was very attentive, drinks, hand wipes & change of napkins and cutlery. The food was delicious. We shared dim sum, soup & mains. No room for dessert we were to full. Will defiantly be back. I think we have found our new favorite.

This was our first visit and there is always that little trepidation when you go.somewhwre new. The staff were lovely and very tolerant of us. We had spring rolls and salt and pepper squid and chicken and sweetcorn soup for starters. We then had beef and ginger dim sum and satay cuttlefish dim sum and then chicken curry and shredded chicken for our mains. Funnily enough we ordered too.much food but it was a challenge as it was all so good. Absolutely recommend this to anyone and definitely not your 'bog standard' Chinese. Good and service and price was all fabulous.

They served me pig intestines, beef stomach, fish balls and soggy pork skin instead of a chow mein. Quite literally the worst food I've ever laid eyes on - I ordered a house special chow mein and relieved what I can only describe as a fishy umbilical cord stew. Quite literally vile, and the restaurant refused to help when I called up. I paid 18 quid for pig innards, cow stomach and processed fish balls in horrid watery gravy AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We visited on a Monday and had the 2 course set menu between 12 and 2 which was really great value . The portions were good and the curry had a lovely flavour. Very busy and good service. There was a lot of Chinese customers which is always a good sign as food authentic. First visit on recommendation and we will be back .

We used to go there before lock down and it was ok. We went back to have dim sum today. Price had gone up which wasn’t a surprise given COVID. While food was nice, potion size was even smaller than before price rose. Noodle dish we ordered had more bean sprouts in it than noodles. In general it was too expensive for what we got. Won’t be back any time soon.
