Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

iCafe is a bit scruffy and is full of the the type of bohemian people who lead you believe that this must be a cheap place to quench the thirst and to log onto the internet. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful,...but unfortunately my Americano coffee was served lukewarm and was much stronger than I would ideally have liked. At £6.64 for a milkshake and a standard mug-size coffee was costlier than I would have expected.More

Breakfast of Scrambled egg on a bagel with a latte. Nice environment with friendly staff The scrambled egg and latte where superb, the bagel was tasty but really difficult to cut through...felt like I needed a steak knife before I Yuri Gellered the cutlery...it really...was that tough to cut. Looked and tasted fresh just that last few millimetres top and bottom that where difficult to cut, I should have asked for a sharper knife. Despite the armoured skin bangle I really enjoyed my breakfast and the ambiance of iCafeMore

Used to stop off mostly every morning for my extra large latte, leave my tip be on my way. Since the insanity began they have went cashless, the first time it happened I said fair enough, but still took cash tip. This was not just...for lockdown this has continued and I haven’t been back since start of July and won’t be. To tell me my cash isn’t welcome then it’s not welcome in any form, but you’ll notice they will take your dirty cash if it’s a TIP. Funny that. Try Grove Cafe on Maryhill Rd, cash welcome service friendly and fast, just sayingMore

I have been using this coffee shop for about 6 months. I wanted to leave a comment on their web site, when I could not, I phoned and left a message asking them to contact me. That was 6 weeks ago and no reply from...the management. So if you have a comment to make about Icafes, good or bad, don’t waste your time trying to use their website. In my experience they don’t care what you think.More

I have used this cafe a few times recently. I enjoy the relative quietness. You can sit at the window and get a good view and I think the coffee tastes good. I have purchased a variety of sandwiches and found them to be pretty...tasty. I do agree it is a little overpriced which is why I took off 1 star. The major asset is the staff who I have always found friendly and helpful. Service with a smile!More

Wasn’t impressed at all. No home made cakes. No brown bread. No oat milk. Seems they ran out of stuff... an hour and a half before closing and the waiter was moving chairs, walking about with a floor brush but hardly using it, wet floor...signs were put up although the floor wasn’t being washed so all in all felt a bit uncomfortable. Felt it was overpriced for what I had and the coffee was tepid and not very good. Don’t know what other icafes are like but I’d give this one a miss.More

Friendly attentive service and good coffee. Scones were beyond dry, even toasted you’d need a good hot cup of tea to get them over.

Great food nice vibe. Good service with a smile. Good food was happy to change anything for something else of the big breakfast like I didn’t want mushrooms so was happy to give me extra toast or beans or anything else I opted for more...toast. Would visit again.More

A very cosy café with some great teas and sweet treats. Comfortable seating and very friendly staff with space in the toilet for a wheelchair. Try the Lemon spiced tea and popcorn caramel shortcake if there's any left. Internet used to be really slow but...is at a much quicker speed now. My only complaint is that the music can be a bit distracting and the fizzy drinks are priced quite high. It's a great place to come if you live in the West End doing your weekly shopping/washing routine or if you're passing through this well trodden part of Glasgow on the way to Loch Lomond. 4.5/5More

Just average. The Turkey Bacon Rolls are decent, filling and pretty quickly served. Coffee is ok, but not the best. Atmosphere can be a little bland when it is quiet....

Nice staff, relaxed atmosphere, a good place to wait out B&B check-in. But, best of all, the best flat white I'd tasted in Scotland.

I have tried an array of hot chocolate from many establishments but always end up coming back to the I cafe and sampling the wonderful hot chocolate . My favourite has to be the pistachio hot chocolate with cream . I highly recommend it to...anyone so if you have a predilection for this wonderful beverage then pop in to the Icafe . You will be most pleased .More

I have visited this cafe several times for breakfast and lunch in the last couple of weeks, while working in the West End of Glasgow. The coffee is great, food good and the staff outstanding. Loved the music playlists, too. You always get a friendly...welcome, a smile and warm, attentive service - all of which kept me coming back. Recommended!More

Been there a couple of times. The staff is kind and coffee is good, but it’s overpriced. Good for quiet studying and to have private classes.
