We tried this restaurant having read the reviews and I would agree that the food is good, the tasting menu interesting and the staff friendly and professional. The matched wines were a delight and the staff were able to explain the pairings very well. As...More

We had the eight-course deal. All very well-prepared and enjoyable, especially the carpaccio of beef and the squid dishes. Maybe a bit meaty overall, but no pastes spread on pebbles or the other nonsense sometimes experienced. Will go again for the next special occasion. Was...More

My husband and I had the six course tasting menu and we were blown away by the use of local ingredients and how flavoursome and perfectly cooked everything was. Lovely staff and considered wine recommendation for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience.

Late lunch with a bunch of friends. It’s hard to cater for 11, but The Gannet did it with ease. Stornaway black pudding scotch egg, ox cheek and chocolate fondant. All on the money. Coupled by great advice and top wines. Impressive.More

The Gannet never disappoints. Had the winter 6 course tasting menu. Just delightful! Still my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Only disappointment was it was an afternoon visit or I’d have had the wine flight with the tasting menu!! The scallops to start were amazing!More

I think you would have to contact them in advance and ask for the options or for them to cater for you particularly as a lot of their food does contain both dairy and wheat

They still offer small plates at lunch and early evening but not 3 for £12. Still extremely reasonable pricing
