Our experience at the Gannet was wonderful from the moment we stepped through the door. The welcome was warm and it just got better. Starting with a cocktail and a mocktail which were lovely, we had the 7 course tasting menu and every course was...exquisite. The ‘ snacks’ before we even started the meal were so beautifully presented and they so obviously care so much about flavour. The oysters with cucumber granita were fantastic. Favourite was the “ tea and toast” a mutton broth with ciabatta, although in truth it’s hard to pick a favourite when every course was so delicious. Words cannot do it justice. Possibly the best meal we’ve ever had!More

Our dinner experience at the Gannet was exceptional. From entering through the velvet curtains and shown to our stylish seats, the Gannet gourmet eating experience commenced. Every dish served was excitedly explained and the delicious delights did not disappoint. Each and every bite was sublime....The taste sensation with every layer was well crafted and utterly considered. There were tasting notes expressed with every mouthful and ingredients married with the next and executed with finesse. The degustation delights built up to a symphony of flavours and textures and the crescendo was a dessert to die for. Perfectly sized portions. Service was excellent and the wine and cocktails were delicious. Every second in our seats at the Gannet was a tantalising theatre of food. Thank you for your excellence in our dining experience.More

Our first visit to Glasgow has been made special with the delicious dinner at the Gannet. Services were excellent and we’re very impressed with staff service. They were knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. All courses were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Thank you...to the chef and everyone, we will hope to return again soon. A must visit restaurant.More

For a taster menu, we felt that it fell well short. Surprisingly, not a single dish stood out and the menu was lacking in both flair and originality. Wine pairings were somewhat random, while the wine was ok, fortunately it was not a match for...the bland food!! Very overpriced for the standard served.More

Simply fantastic food. From the snacks through to the dessert, we could not fault it. Difficult to even pick a favourite course. The service and staff were lovely, attentive, friendly and not pretentious or snobby which is sometimes a problem with restaurants of this calibre....My only minor criticism would be it was chilly and I couldn’t remove my jacket the whole meal. It was a cool evening and every time the door opened there was a blast of cold air. Didn’t detract from our experience, loved our visitMore

Food was absolutely delightful from the first cheesy snack. So many fresh and vibrant flavours and amazing difference in textures. The beef and cured trout were stand outs. I've been to several fine dining institutes in Glasgow and would put this above the one that...already has a Michelin star... Plus 55 for the wine pairing, what a bargain! Staff were also incredible! So friendly and helpful and even managed to get us a table next door for cocktails after!!!More
