We had a girls lunch here yesterday so various choices from the menu. Everyone was delighted by their choice of food cleared plates by all, burgers were excellent and the mac n cheese went down a storm. Well worth a visit

En route to the Renfrew Ferry for a charity fundraiser, we stopped off here for drinks and pizza- It was great. Attentive, friendly staff and brilliant pizzas with lovely seasoned French fries.

Absolutely outstanding lunch, food was stupendous, washed down with a cheeky Vino. Staff were top drawer, from the moment we opened your door. See you soon....

Met a friend for lunch, food was delicious and staff attentive. When they realise you are only on a lunch break they go out of their way to speed up service for you.

I love macaroni but it can be a major hit or miss in restaurants - The Admiral's macaroni is perfect. It's home made and very cheesy and creamy. Way better than Sloans. A bargain too at around £6.

The Admiral is a great traditional Glasgow pub with several twists. The Tuesday teatime quiz is great fun if you have a fairly thick skin and can cope with the abuse from the host. Look out for offers. Two for one on pizzas and only £4 for macaroni and cheese. Several mac and cheese possibilities but the three little pigs... More

Even at restaurant prices the pizza and macaroni in here would be brilliant. The deals they have on though, 2 4 1 pizzas and £4 mac, are unbelievable. The quality is brilliant and it is surely a loss leader to bring in the drinking trade which just means you get absolutely amazing value food in a great friendly atmosphere. I... More

A great friendly pub for lunch or dinner or just catching up with friends over a drink. Menu a great pub grub with endless choice loads of tables to eat with just as much space for standing drinking. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff, food is always hot and prompt, it does get busy at lunchtimes in... More

We came in for a group Christmas lunch on Friday. Beforehand, we had preordered our food online which was great as it was a work lunch and we had limited time. The food is reasonably priced , sandwiches an baked potatoes are £5 and pizzas are 2for1.. Great deal! I ordered myself a baked potato with cheese and coleslaw. It... More

Excellent beer, great food & fantastic staff. A better bar in town you could not find. Whether you're watching football, reading the paper or having a bite to eat, this is the place for you.
