The Pacific is small. If going there, it's always wise to book ahead. Burgers are lovely, food in general is basic but really nice. Service is very friendly, staff are warm and welcoming. Cocktails are great too! Not your average place, but that's to its advantage. Service is quick and prices are decent. Absolutely recommended.

Last minute decision to go here and were worried the food would be poor. It wasn't. Good menu and all four food dishes were great as were the staff. Be warned though... Some of the cocktails are lethal.

We popped in here at the last minute & we're glad we did. It was an early dinner for us because we have a two year old, but the place was already busy. We had a deal for two courses, but couldn't actually finish all the food. The salt & pepper squid was amazing, the chicken satay was tasty &... More

For starters we ordered the fried squid which was phenomenal - hint of chili, crispy batter and the squid was soft not rubbery. Simply amazing! The mains did not disappoint either! The green curry was creamy and zesty. It's a delicious hearty dish. The prawn pad Thai was super too. All went down really nicely with a refreshing mocktail. Will... More

Went here last Saturday for a late lunch. Booked through 5pm deal. Great value! Was the best chicken satay I've ever had, & the Wild West End Burger was excellent. We will be back here soon!

When we first arrived at the Pacific Tiki bar I was slightly dismayed, it was very small with only a few tables and the 'Pacific' theme was slightly tacky. From this impression I wasn't expecting great things from the food but was VERY pleasantly surprised! The menu is small but all the food and sauces were home-cooked beautifully, the fusion... More

First experience and it wasn't bad. Interesting variations on rum. Nothing special but you can step by before heading to the proper party.

Went here for dinner with a friend, food was expensive for the portion size and poor quality. Ordered a noodle meal, half of which tasted like it had been burnt to the bottom of the pan. My friend ordered a masama curry, which was described as a little salty. It tasted like it had a bucket load of salt in... More

The venue has been a couple of places over the years but this is the best . The bar/restaurant is small but all the tables were taken and it had a nice relaxed buzz. Staff were pleasant and the cocktails were very good. The starters of chicken satay and tempura prawns were tasty and fresh . The Thai green curry... More

Laidback Tiki bar in West End The sound of the surf; exotic cocktails and Big Kahuna burgers mean you can only be in one place - The Pacific Bar and Kitsch Inn on Dumbarton Road. Sister bar to Bath Street's Tiki Bar and Kitsch Inn, The Pacific brings the 'Aloha!' To Glasgow's West End. Decked out like a Polynesian beach hut, it is a laidback spot for sipping a couple of Mai Tais or grazing on a Thai sharing platter. An inventive cocktail list, served in sharing bowls or ceramic tiki mugs, are one of the big draws at The Pacific. Tasty as the drinks are, the food is just as big an attraction. As well as popular Thai favourites such as king prawn tempura, curries and phat, or pad, Thai, the main menu lists chilli, chicken and fish tacos plus a selection of fun burgers. Especially popular is the Kalua-style pulled pork burger served in a brioche. Plenty of customers also drift in for the big brunch which is served until 4pm, seven days a week. Massive omelettes, fry-ups, bagels, eggs Benedict and country style pancakes keep the wolf from the door.
