We were staying near SEC to go to a concert and randomly found this restaurant. The food we had was fresh and also freshly cooked to order. It was seasoned and flavoured perfectly. Lovely service - we were looked after us wonderfully. Highly recommended.

Fine Persian food at its best, super clean restaurant with pleasant staff members. Great authentic Persian menu with good pictures and descriptions of the food available. We each had different food and each was its own flavour with enough to share with each option, Meat...all cooked to perfection and flavours were just like momma would make, I am coming back and will make sure I do not eat for a day or two.More

This was a fantastic meal with wonderful service from members of the family which runs this restaurant. VERY tasty and varied dishes with lots of options for vegans or vegetarians. We will DEFINITELY be back.

We visited Sholeh before a concert as its not far from the O2 Academy. We were absolutely blown away! The food was absolutely delicious. If you fancy trying something a little different to the usual Chinese and Indian, you will not be disappointed. Every dish...we had was packed with flavour. Can highly recommend the lamb dish with pomegranate. The mixed starter for two gives you a nice taster of a few and they let you choose your own combination. The family running it we're really friendly and informative about the food. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Can't fault it!More

Have been wanting to try here for ages as I am both an admirer of Persian cuisine and culture. We placed an order for collection and went to pick up. Almost immediately after entering the restaurant and attempting to stand out the way of the...other customers waiting we were scolded by a man working the pass, who I assume is one of/the owner due to the three of us entering together. All of us being boys he rudely said to us “is this a sausage fest? You don’t need three people to pick up a collection”. Granted, the area was quite busy and while I could understand the mans point, for him to be so rude immediately instead of just asking his paying customers politely for only one of to stay in the shop baffles me. As someone who works as a chef myself, if I were ever to be so rude to a customer I would immediately be disciplined, which is what makes me the assume the man was the owner. What this man didn’t know was that I have recently had major surgery, the order was in my name and as it was a large order my friends just wanted to make sure I could carry everything myself. We had ordered a good few sauces and they only gave us one, so we had to wait another 5 minutes while they figured out what was missing. I wasn’t bothered by this, more amused at the man behind the pass ineptness at reading checks and putting sauces in little tubs. Perhaps if he spent more time getting his orders right instead of attempting to intimidate his paying customers his service would run a little better. The silver lining was that the food was delicious, however this fact didn’t sweeten the overall experience as the for the price (mine was around £15) the meat to rice ratio was pretty poor. Don’t waste your money here, great food let down by small portions of meat and terrible rude service. This is the only time I have ever felt compelled to leave anywhere a bad review, that’s how disappointed I am with my experience of sholeh.More

This is a delightful family restaurant, the food is excellent with vast amount of flavours. We had the meze starter was simply outstanding. Our mains of lamb and beef were so very tasty. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you would like something that...little bit different.More

First visit to Sholeh and sad to say I doubt I would return. We shared kashk-e bademjamvega and nan bread to start. It is a warm aubergine, garlic puree and was very tastey. The bread was also lovely, non greasy. For main we both had...grilled whole seabass which came with a large bowl of steamed rice, a couple of slices of tomato and fresh parsley. The fish was lovely but the rice was dry and tasteless. It really needs a sauce of some sort as too dry and lacks flavour. The worst thing about the restaurant is the very un welcoming staff., one in particular who slammed our glasses on the table. She seemed to be in a bad mood. At no time did anyone approach us to ask how our meals were or if we wanted anything else. No offer of a desert or coffee when they took the plates away.More

We tried here for the first time this month & will definitely be back as regulars! We wanted the Persian experience from start to finish & cannot fault a single aspect of the experience. The staff were so attentive to our every needs and made...the experience exceptionally enjoyable! The food was amazing & the staff had brilliant recommendations which we couldn’t fault! The portion sizes were massive and we ended up taking food home with us! We will definitely be going back and cannot wait to try more new food from the menu! It also felt as though you were the only people in the place (the staff were that attentive to each individual table that every table felt they were the priority for the staff, they even thought ahead to adapt the blinds to block out the sun for our baby!)More

Cannot agree anymore with previous reviewers that the food, taste, quality and service, all are outstanding. Starters to desserts everything on point, fresh and flavourful. Highly recommended

I've lost count how many times me & my family have visited this restaurant over the past couple of yrs.. The food is absolutely amazing everytime we've visited, the staff as so friendly & welcoming & very pleasant..Its our top choice of restaurants in Glasgow...wither it be for lunch or evening meal. Parking is easy plus your away from the biz of the city centre even though its a stone throw away... Nell ❤️More
